😆😆 Divya its funny. Poor Jodha and Jalal. Kya se Kya ho gaya
These are all customer service centres all outsourced agencies. Therefore wont blame the team as they are instructed all this.
I have stopped watching the show since the baby blame which I found deplorable and extremely obtuse thought.

Lavanya 🤗 I missed our back and forth from the good old days so much

For some reason, I was not too worried about the blame .. it was unnecessary ... but I would say it was a dialogue error ... as it was clear they both felt shared guilt from everything else that followed

But SWs as you called them are not even good at script writing

Sorry divyam...but blame game was not an error of script writing...It lasted for full three years and ended up killing thousand of ppl in Chittor...We can not trivilse blame game by saying it is an error of dialogue writers...

Hi Ela - why apologize? We are entitled to our own views ... I understand it was painful to watch Jalal blame Jodha for something that she was not too fault ... but I did not feel the whole three years was a blame game. I had written a slightly different take of events.

Here is the original post: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/jodha-akbar/4198544/five-points-to-ponder

Now the only thing that may change all this is the Jalal-Salima- other wives angle ... but till I get clarity on that in the show I do not know. But, I think the relevant points are unchanged

But here is the post pasted here:

1. Blame only on Jodha ... Yes the dialogue writing was sloppy as it has been multiple times before ... And yes, given I have nit-picked on dialogues before, I will not stop you. It is wrong for Jalal to blame only Jodha.

However, I am not sure which one to believe - the dialogue between Jodha-Jalal or the soul talk ... Because the soul talk clearly had a sense of shared responsibility and guilt ...

Jalal said: For us, that night of love had darkened ...
Jodha said: There was nothing left to bond us ...

Not once did Jodha say - you (Jalal) have thrown me out of your life ... Or blamed me. It was about how together they lost what they had and Jalal had lost his heart.

And even in the war, it is clarified that Jalal's first "enemy" was God ... He was not taking anger on the Rajvanshis because of Jodha. And to be honest, he was taking out his anger on the enemy because they were an enemy- not because of who they were.

2. Does Jalal not know how to be a support to Jodha? Everyone is quick to state that Jalal was not there when Jodha needed him the most ... But, what about the Jalal who was a rock to her at the death of Haasan?

So, what has changed?

- Jalal is broken by both guilt, pain, and sense of betrayal
- Jalal no longer believes in anything including God, Love, and Jodha

A person who has faith in nothing, including God and himself, what will he support anyone else? However, is it his fault he has faith in nothing?

Has he done it intentionally not to be a support Jodha? No, it has his pain that has reduced him to this state. And we can argue how one can turn into this in pain ... and I am sure Jalal probably did not degenerate it like this ... but there are others with grave loss who have. Remember Aamir Khan's character in Talaash?

So, how can a person who has lost faith in everything be able to support anyone?

3. If Jalal is not God's, then how can he be Jodha's? Everyone is questioning how Jalal could leave Jodha , but when Jalal has left everyone including God, then how can he be Jodha's?

It is not like he has side-lined Jodha and giving attention to others ... He has completely closed himself from the world, God, and himself. If he had been nice to Ruquaiyya and not to Jodha, that would have been different. But, he is lashing out to everyone.

4. The case of Chittor. I do not know the "facts" of Chittor ... likely no one ever will. However, I feel it is unlikely it was done out of personal revenge for the twins. I have read multiple sources that say Jalal did take a mannat to go to Ajmer after winning ... so, it shows this war was not a challenge to God.

But, is this the only NR we have seen ...
- We have seen the greatest warriors of all time .. In chains during the mirchi war
- We have seen the momentous abolishment of the Hindu tax reduced to a tug of war between two begums?
- Is it that much of a stretch that the CVs have decimated the siege of Chittor as a tale of personal vengeance?

But, the violence of Chittor is true. We also know that Jodha was with Jalal after this siege ... So there must be some way she understood Jalal and the violence that happened there.

5. Salim ... his arrival and what it means.

I am a little weary of hearing this point of Jodha as a baby production machine ... I find it more insulting to Jodha than anything else. If the baby was all he wanted, why did Jalal not just be with any woman to get a baby after this tragedy ... is it all just about the baby?

No, it is not about just getting a baby ... it is his loss in faith that this God will ever let him receive this happiness.

Or else, he would have just gone to all the other women in an attempt to get a baby. However, he did not ... he shut himself completely.

What does this mean? If there was love, it was only with Jodha ... If there is no love, there is nothing ... and that is the state Jalal is currently in. A state of nothing but hatred and bitterness ... that will not allow him to understand God, support Jodha, or have faith in anyone or anything.

I can understand the starting point- a loss of Faith in everything ... I can understand the end-point a Spiritual Journey ... and the middle the CVs have taken the most gruesome path to explain ... there was a simpler way, a war at Chittor was not needed. Which war have the CVs shown to show this one? I for one , will never ask for a war scene again.

This is not the first NR, nor it is the last ... we have survived in the past and we will survive again.

Jalal blamed Jo but Jo did not blame Jalal becoz she self was feeling very guilty ...She was believing Ruku's word abt herself and so was Jalal believing Ruku's words abt Jodha...
Jalal was clearly visiting other women during this period and satisfying himself...He definitely was not leading a life of absentee...whild Jo was all alone full of self guilt...

Why was it so difficult for Jalal to punish Ruku just as he punished Jo and Rajwanshis? After all Jo was unaware of Zeenat's intentions too but was punished...So why not Ruku? and where do we draw the line about Ruku's jealosy? Can all her actions be justified in the name of her being jealous?

It is sad dear but the fact is JA love story is dead becoz of Jalal abondoning Jo...and now going back to Jo becoz he wants kids again ...No matter how insulting it looks but it is the truth of Jalal and Jodha's relationship...

Ela, let's agree to disagree on this one ... I have interpreted the course of events differently

But the irony is, if Jalal had kids with other women, then he didn't need to go to Jodha just for kids ... there must have been something else

... and why would he possibly have waited so long for their SR ...

Hey Divya 🤗, yeah those were the days
Well it was distasteful and left acrimony amongst lot of viewers esp Women who are mothers. You are being too kind to the writers😆😆, they committed a blunder. The ideation itself is obtuse and condemnable and unfortunate that it came from women writers. It should have NOT been thought. There could have been simple way to show that the duo decided to give each other space out of melancholy. See on one hand you show the blame is caused by pleasure from one person then its contradictory to show the same pleasure from another person giving you solace. It makes the approach towards relationship ribald.
Moreover, seeing the influence of TV on women, it sent a very wrong message. All this while the makers showed Jodha as passive participant in the intimacy area and once when they showed her becoming active, she gets blamed for it?😒. Now take the hidden message sent across. Isn't this stereotypical?
Moreover there are educated ( engineers, doctors, CA) people who are not active on internet and believe that since Ekta is showing it on TV, it must be true to a large extent.OuchOuch
Script writers😆😆 they are NO more that, they just know to read and writeOuch😆😆😆.
BTW, do watch the show Neeli Chatri Wale, a very well made show with good message.
