Shruti Haasan fulfills a little girl's last wish

Shruti Haasan took a day off from her shoot and drove down to Pune to fulfill a little girl's last wish

Just few days ago, Shruti got a call regarding a wish made 17-year-old Sheetal Pawar from Pune who is battling last stage of cancer and was in the hospital for a long time. She recently got discharged by the doctors who said she can't be saved and should live the last few days of her life to the fullest. The young girl made a request to meet her favorite actress Shruti Haasan.

Shruti, who's been shooting for Yaara with Vidyut Jammwal took a day off to go and meet the girl in Pune.She drove down from Mumbai to spend one whole day with the girl. The two bonded over movies and Shruti also gave her a personalized handwritten letter. The actress was touched by the courage and liveliness of the young girl and spend some quality time with her before driving back to the sets same night.

Shruti got to know about this through a foundation called Make-A-Wish, where other prominent celebrities including Bill Clinton, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus have helped others in a similar situation
