Was there really a ghost in Bhool Bhulaiya ?

I have watched the movie lot of times but i never understood whether there really was Manjulika's ghost or it was just Avni's mental illness ? Can sum1 tell me 😆

I think it was just the illness...

Although the tamil version is hella confusing...it makes it seem like illness makes it easier for the ghost to possess her or something ...

there were no ghost.. but even before avni came rajpal yadav is attacked ermember

There was a ghost I think. It possessed Avni and used her to cause chaos.
