Yesterday I disagreed with one statement that Akbar made

Do remember prem that Jehangir could indulge his 'passions' becoz his father had created that kind of environment for him - while when we actually look at Akbar then this man was passionate about everything that made him curious to seek more - and that kind of passion is what creates and nurtures all thing that are different and out of box - you shd read Irfan Habib to understand all that Akbar was passionately interested in - but yes what moved him most was philosophy.

Akbar's passion was in building a great empire in younger days and later on bringing all religions together that was his passion

very well said! akbar was busy with expansion of his empire and salim did not had to worry about that part as much and that is why shift in his passion or we can say something he was born with!
