What is possessiveness? What is possession? It means that something is ours or we feel it belongs to us. To me possessiveness means keeping a hold on that person like the person belongs to us only. As for Indiam women being more possessive, I donot think so. It is an international issue. But why just women??? Men are equally possessive, if not more. I have a Canadian friend who is absolutely beautiful who has been severely abused by her ex to the extent that he broke her eardrum. I have seen our own men being abusive to their women out of jealousy.

Yes very true.... infact i would say men can be more possessive.... however it cant be generalised..... both have possessiveness and depends on person to person😊

Over-possessiveness comes from our own insecurities and I am the first one to admit that.😳 It is not healthy and we need to educatate and learn to loosen the string a little......... or we end up hurting ourselves the most.😃

Very much agree except first statement... i would say... over-possessiveness comes from our own insecurities and vice-versa..... both are pros and cons as per me😃

Brad Pitt and daughter Shiloh's luncheon date with Jennifer Aniston has made Angelina Jolie, Brad's current flame, see red — literally! Jolie allegedly threatened to dump Pitt after discovering he'd taken their baby daughter to meet his ex-wife.

The Oscar-winning beauty was said to be furious when she found out Brad and 14-month-old Shiloh had shared lunch with former Friends star Jennifer.

A source told Britain's Star magazine, "Angelina went totally ballistic. She rarely gets so angry. She was shouting so hard at Brad that the veins were bulging in her neck. She told him in no uncertain terms that they were finished if he took Shiloh anywhere near Jennifer again."

Brad had reportedly asked Angelina to join him and Shiloh for lunch at Jennifer's Malibu mansion, but she declined his offer.

Angelina allegedly feels Jennifer is trying to drive a wedge between the couple, who have three adopted children, Maddox, five, Pax, three and two-year-old Zahara.

The source added, "Angelina couldn't believe it. She asked Brad what the hell he thought he was doing, and why he was humiliating her like that. But Brad couldn't believe he was getting the third degree. He told Angie it was just a harmless lunch.

"Angelina told him, 'She, Jen, is just loving it. Can't you see? She's in touch with your mom, too. She might as well move in with us.'"

Last month, Jennifer met Brad's mother, Jane, for a two-hour catch-up — much to Angelina's annoyance. Angelina was said to have been so furious with Jane, she threatened to ban her from seeing Shiloh unless she severed all contact with Jennifer.

In 2005, Jennifer and Brad separated after four years of marriage. Many claimed the actor's close friendship with Angelina was the cause of their split.

I don't know about Indian women but Indian men are definitely over-possessive. The average Indian man still thinks that his wife/ girlfriend is his possession.
