What does Indian Janta like more???

Well, I got attacked for replying to a post with cricket analogy in similar way. Just made me think, if we can compare the contestants with bollywood, then why not cricket - afterall both are equally popular in India. Then I thought why not ask the people here.

And yes this is not about your opinion about what you like, it is about your opinion on what the Indian janta likes more. It is tricky since it is very easy to think that what you like is what junta likes which is not always true - see Qazi for example, a lot of people even hate him but overall he is junta's favorite.

But wouldn't choosing what YOU like be a direct reflection of what the Indian janta likes? I mean whatever criteria gets the most hits would give you a clue what the desi janta likes, whether the hits were due to personal opinion or not. Think about it for a sec 😉

I thought about that earlier, but then thought that this forum is not the Indian Janta. A majority of them don't even know how to type. So, what is more popular in janta's views can be different from forum members.

i vote for television. these days all movies are so boring and nonsense. people rather watch tv serials and reality show.

i vote 4 television..its now more popular thn bollywood movies.. 😃 and hey gr8 topic 👏

i'll vote 4 cinema or cricket cant choose between da 2.....i m not dat much in2 tv soaps....fg is da only show i watch on tv

I was getting irritated with similar posts and similar words springing up again and again (kinda like the soaps).

I think that it is a close match between cricket and tv. bollywood is 3rd due to quality of movies. Outdoor activities are still laging back in India.

My personal favorite is

1) going out (nothing is better than fresh air)
2) cricket (atleast the results keeps you interested till the end)
3) movies (you can pick and choose and atleast the faces are different)
4) TV (same old stories repeated in different shows - i believe they have a plot bank or something where the writers deposit the stories and the directors take it out from time to time, trying to find the address of that bank though😉 to blast it off or atleast contribute some ideas of my own)

same here abt tv soaps, i used to like comedies especially hum panch every episode was different from the previous one. but now even the comedies are deteriorating in quality and the drama's are more like tragedies. so, i like to go out more often, we play all kinds of sports here in our friends-circle from basketball, cricket, tennis, volleyball.

even fame gurukul slowly i am loosing interest - they do not have much to show now with fewer contestants so they bring stupid twists and outside performers to fill in the time for the show (gala is 2 hours and 4-5 contestants are too few for that time)

wat else ...........parvati kaha hain,, tulsi ne kia bola......prerna , anurag and bajaj will get married again with each other .....................
