Hello everyone!
Throughout this show there have been instances of good tracks, weak tracks, underutilised tracks etc but one thing which I have always appreciated is the relationship of Raj and Avni as for me it has been dealt with fairly well regardless of whatever else has been shown. Today's episode reinforced my belief.
Raj and Avni are married and now face the uphill task of getting their families together. To this end, their first effort went down the drain. Avni took this really badly and started having doubts about their relationship. This was quite natural as all her frustration, anger at her family's behalf, fear about the future led her to question her marriage and its stability. Raj understood and gave her time to think over. And then the next morning told her that they had to meet to talk things out. This was such a mature thing to do as its best to talk out issues as they arise so that they don't become bigger later. He called her home but she wasn't convinced and so they went to a third place as he said they really needed to comfortably talk. And talk they did. He told her that he is facing the same situation as her but his trust on their relationship is unshakable. He also expressed his sadness at her doubts because he feels like he has failed as a husband. Raj's trust and sincerity give strength to Avni and she apologises and all is well.
This is what relationships are about. They are never smooth and have to face many problems. Talking them out, being each other's support in times of weakness is what strengthens a bond and makes it strong to face any issues that may arise. Yes, there will be a lot of problems in the future and Raj and Avni will fight. Their will be constant testing of their relationship. But it is the same love and trust that will help them tide over it. From the process of falling in love, to accepting it to taking it to its desired end, it has now reached a stage where Raj and Avni have to strengthen it and hold on to it through anything that life throws at them. This is the next level of love, the love which is the essence of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.
