Scene 1: Location: At the restaurant
Virat accuses buaji and tells them about their conspiracies. Anjali and Madhuri get angry and reprimand buaji for giving Pooja the chocolate which caused her to have food poisoning. Buaji denies everything but Madhuri's husband speaks up and says that they know how low buaji can stoop to get her ways. Suket tells them to be quiet and not forget that they're not being thankful. Akshat says nothing can be expected from them as they are very selfish and ungrateful people. Avni asks them all to be quiet when they started arguing again and says that they should leave. She looks at Raj sadly while he is tensed. His family also leaves after Virat hands over a water bottle to Anjali for the pooja. Virat hears the managers and staff wondering why sir had asked them to activate the alarm if the family had so many differences and were each others enemies. Virat questions the manager and after much hesitance and beating around the bush the manager gets frightened when Virat daunts him to telling the truth. However, the manager refuses to say anything and states that customer information and affairs are all confidential. Virat gets irked and leaves.
While outside, Virat is confused and wonders why something is wrong since Raj and Avni came back from Umatgaon and thinks he should find out what is amiss. He sees Avni wearing the heirloom bangles as she gets into the car. He then promises to find out what it is.
Scene 2: Location: Raj & Avni's house
During the night, Raj calls Avni and they end up arguing about the family. Raj then tells her if they too fight then how will they unite their families. Avni tells him the same thing and says that if they also fight then their marriage is senseless too. Raj asks her to be patient and very soon everything will be okay. Avni disconnects the call while Raj is tensed.
In the morning, Virat walks in while Anjali and Vikram discuss business with an excuse saying that he lost his ring and after Anjali's permission, he starts going through the jewelry. He finds an empty box and is assured that he was correct. Anjali gets tensed when Virat points out to her the empty box which contained the heirloom bangles. She worriedly asks them where the bangles are and Raj enters the house at that point with the bangles in his hands saying that he had taken them to get them polished. Anjali is relieved while Virat is perplexed. Raj is relieved and it is shown how he got duplicate bangles made. He thinks that he should be cautious next time.
Buaji vents out her anger at the Purohit family and says that she will never forgive them. Avni hears everything and is tensed. Raj calls Avni and tells her that they have to meet after Avni tells him about her problem and buaji's anger at home. She points out that it's difficult to leave as she is in a big dilemma and she won't be allowed out after what had happened the day before. Avni is shocked when Raj asks her to go to his house. She tells him it's not possible while Raj is adamant. Avni wonders what he has planned.
Later in the evening, Raj's family is decked up and ready and they ask him why isn't dressed when they notice. He tells them that he has something urgent and he will join them later on. The family leave and ask him to be on time. Raj waits for Avni and hopes that she turns up. Avni walks into his house and doesn't find anyone around. Coincidentally; she drops the kalash kept in her way and is shocked. Raj walks up to her and cites that this was her griha pravesh. Avni gets frustrated and asks Raj what was the need for that to be done today. Raj tells her that their marriage is based on the promises they have made to each other. Avni tried to talk and tell him about how helpless she is but Raj asks her why she thought that their love is weak. Avni vents out her anger and tells Raj that if someone sees them together in his house, there would be another problem. She asks him to fasten whatever he is doing so she can leave. Raj is tensed.
Scene 3: Location: Office
Virat arrives with Raj's parents, and then pretends to be sick and having a severe headache. He goes back home after having gotten their permission. He thinks that he would now find out about Raj's plan.
Scene 4: Location: On the road
Raj and avni, on the road, discuss how significant it is for them to talk about something very important, and since she didn't want to be there in his home, as she is scared that someone might see them; he got her out of there. Avni is still scared that someone might see them. She is lost in her thoughts and doesn't seem to be showing interest to what Raj is telling her.Scene 5:
