Amidst all the cute, 'you go boy!', and 'slow down boy!'...doom is inevitable.
I cheered for Cabir when he stood up to Raghav like that. When he got the message from Raghav and that smile that came on his face, I was all ready for another heartbreak for him. But it was nice to see Cabir talking to Manik about it before. He's not a dull guy, and it's not like Manik was trying to hide his open hatred/challenge to Raghav. It was great to see Raghav sweat but on the other hand, I wasn't all that surprised when Harshad caught all on it. The guy is always on his high alert mode when it comes to Fab5. Manik...mere duffer, you brought it upon yourself.
Nandini is creeping up in every one of his conversations. Waise I was always firm in my belief that Cabir would be the first and the most supportive of MaNan when it all comes out but Manik told Cabir that Nandini had told him about RagBir...and then we saw Harshad knowing all about it. Ab obviously Harshad is going to use this big weapon against the Fab5 in the worst possible way. And again it's obvious that all blame will be turned towards Nandini. Cabir knows that only Manik and Nandini know about his relationship with Raghav. Harshad is too smart to let this card slip from his hand or use it in a way that would harm him. So, is that what's gonna be? The crisis in MaNan's life is going to stem from this turn of events?
I like the Nandini we get when she's around Dhruv. She's so chirpy and witty when she converses with him. She feels...safe with him. The kind of safety you get when you're with your friends ke I can be anything around them and they won't judge me. Of course, this comes from her being blissfully unaware about Dhruv's feelings for her. When she does find out about them, I doubt she'd remain the same. Which will kinda suck because Nandini always lights up when she's around Dhruv. She holds him really special in her life. It's not like I blame Dhruv for anything, he's just crushing really bad on Nandini and acting accordingly. Taking her off-hand comments as major life saving words. With this conversation with her today, he saw the way she acted as a source of encouragement for the confession for his feelings. Yikes..the way things are just ready to blow up any second.
Alya told Manik about Mukti. I had thought that she might tell him at a drastic moment which will be the cause of troubles for Manik's personal life (which just revolves around Nandini now) but phew, thank God she didn't. She was concerned for Mukti and she told Manik the first chance she got with him alone. Manik should really talk to Alya. Ever since the breakup and the "trust" conversation, he's been plain avoiding her. Yeah, their relationship ended but they're still friends, right? Can't they be at least a little civil and find something, anything, to talk about when it's just the two of them? He doesn't even let her start on what she wants to talk about before stopping her.
Mukti sees Manik-Alya as The Ideal Couple. Two people who have been together for almost half their life, so in love, and still going strong. They are a source of happiness for her. I was thinking about it before the episode aired, how hard for Mukti will it be to accept their breakup. Because the way she would see it, it would all look like a reprise version of her and Harshad. The guy cheated on the girl with some other girl. Love ki aisi ki taisi. Another added example to the list of many reasons why love just doesn't exist anymore in today's love. She'd do anything to cling to this one last hope in her life that yeah, love does exist. Her best friends are in love, wo real wala love. If we take this away from her...pills won't be the only thing she'd resort to.
MaNan be going all cute. It sucked that the precap we got yesterday was just a promo but meh, it makes sense. This triangle revelation is a BIG plot device for the show, has been ever since it started, writers ain't just gonna give us that suddenly. They will play with our emotions and expectations before blasting it all on us. Urgh! It sucks! I hate these kind of promos. But it was so ADORABLE!! They were being so couply...my babies! <3
Ek tou they were giving such sweet looks to each other during the lucky charm scene. How am I supposed to control my heart? They make me into such a squealy fangirl. Baba tou doesn't miss a chance, eh? Good going Baba! It's not like our Nandu minds đł And the second thing, the way they light up when the other is mentioned in the conversation. I died over the way Nandini brightened up and got curious about what Manik told Dhruv. Her thoughts immediately went to their moments from the party, every single one of them. She was so happy at the prospect of Manik telling someone about what they share..it kind of felt bad to see her face fall when Dhruv told her that Manik only told him about them working together. And then there's Manik. Who obviously thinks about Nandini and her take about stuff when he talks of anything. It was obvious that when he thought of love, he didn't think about Cabir had said but what Nandini had said, that love just doesn't leave you.
One thing though I wanna applaud the writers about. That the word love' has never crept up between Manik-Nandini. We haven't gotten even one scene where they question or term their feelings for each other as love'. Manik had said this before, love is too strong a word to be used so casually. I love the way they are welcoming and enjoying this attraction/connection they feel towards each other and not actually rushing and calling it love. Love happens later. This phase that they are going through, it's the time you spend knowing the other person. When you get used to the other person, know them by spending time and going through various situations together. I know that the word love' will creep up, sooner than later. They will confess to each other by using the word love. But from the get go, it's not love. We can say all we want that it's love that's binding them but it's not just superficial love that actually does. It goes deeper than that, it's a soul finding its fated match. It's them reaching at this point by accepting each other in all ways. Love as a word can be used to define but only for the lack of a better word. It ain't the self-consuming ishq, it ain't the typical love. It's special and I am glad that it's treated that way.
As for the last bit...*sigh* I just..can't. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!! Can they please leave the college for a bit and spend some super alone time together without any fear of interruption?! I wanna savor some sweet, undisturbed moments before the doom strikes.
