Writers might have n number of ideas I think overall channel pressure and Production house pressure and also ever increasing TRP's constitute the factor that they have to make such a storyline. If they show overly matured story n they r not getting TRP's then they will have shut the serial down, more TRP's means good business which translates good Diwali bonuses to the whole team.
