Gunjan, Veera and Balveer left delhi early in the morning, Chanchali didn't accompany them, she didn't reveal who she was, she said she was Veera's old friend and asked Veera to tell everyone about her only when her life is in peace again.
Balveer was very excited.
Balveer; mom when would we reach
Veera; sim abhi bohot time he
Balveer; mom dad knows we are coming right?
Veera; no
Balveer; mom why aren't we informing him
Gunjan laughed.
Gunjan; tune ise kya kha ke paida kiya aur kya khila ke bada kiya he?
Veera; kuch nhi, ye Baldev pe gaya he na isiliye ye itna bolta he abhi se
Gunjan; nhi mere veerji itna nhi bolte, is maamle me ye bilkul tujhpe gaya he..tu bhi iski umar me bht bolti thi, menu yaad hai ranvi kinna khush hta tha teri baten sun ke.
Veera smiled, Balveer was looking outside the window of the mini van they were in.
Balveer; mom ye road inta empty kyun he
Veera; ye highway he baby city se bahar aisa hi hota he
Balveer; mom papa jahan hen is it bigger than delhi
Gunjan; nhi nhi, wo to delhi ka chata hissa bhi nhi
Balveer; what?
Veera; sim, bua ka matlab he pritampura is very small
Balveer; okay
Balveer got tired of waiting and fell asleep in Veera's lap. Gunjan put a black tikka behind his ear.
Gunjan; ise kahin meri hi nazar na lag jaye, kinna pyara he ye, kash mene ranvi se shadi nhi ki hti, to abhi iske saath ziada same milta
Veera; pr ye to btaiye ye sb hua kese? aur Baldev ne ye shadi hone kese di?
Gunjan; veerji badal gye hen Veera, unhone sbko unke qarze chukane ka moqa bhi diya, wo bohot ache hogye hen, lekin ab gussa ziada ata he unhe, thodi thodi baat pe chid jate hen
Veera; Veerji kese hen?
Gunjan; bas theek hi hai, tere bagair shadi krne se inkaar kr rha tha, wo to mene thoda nataq kiya tab mana wo.
They entered pritampura, Veera felt so awkward, she was tensed not knowing how she would face everyone.
Gunjan moved out of the car when they stopped infront of Ranvi's house. She went inside, ranvi was sitting on the cot drinking tea.
Gunjan; chal ranvi tere waste bohot bada surprise layi hun me. (she pulled him)
She pulled Ranvi outside the house, Chaiji and Ratan followed. And they were shocked as soon as they saw Veera, with Balveer wo was asleep, his head resting on Veera's shoulder.
Ranvi; Veera!
He came close to her and saw Balveer's face.
Ranvi; e Baldev? tu..(he saw the sindoor and mangalsutr) tune shadi kab ki Baldev se? aur..phir tu use chad ke? hamne chad ke qn chali gai?
Veera; menu maaf kardo veerji
Ranvi hugged her and cried, Chaiji and Ratan looked at each other.
Then Chaiji came to her and hugged her too, she kissed her forehead and then Balveer's
Chaiji; kinna sona puttar he, bilkul Baldev jesa dikhta he qn chote chan
Ranvi; haan chaiji
Ratan didn't respond, she was too guilty to even apologize, she went inside. Veera tried to swallow, she knew it was not worth expecting. They went inside.
Gunjan; bas ab me veerji ko bulaon
Chaiji; pr ise uthne to do pehle
Gunjan; nhi..me chahti hun ye uthte hi sb se pehle apne papaji ka chehra dekhe aap sabka nhi, Chaiji aap veerji ko phone laga kr kaho ke me seedhi se gir gai hun aur ranvi ghar pe nhi, phone bhi bhool gya he..wo dode chale ayenge
Veera took Balveer upstairs and lay him on ranvi's bed.

Baldev came running when he heard of Gunjan's fall, but when he entered the house no one was there,
Baldev; sab kithe hen? lagta he hospital chale hi gye.phir bhi ek wari dekh leta hun kya pta kamre me hon
Balveer woke up and found himself in a strange place he got worried and cried "mom mo where are you?"
Gunjan held Veera and they hid behind the pillar, Balveer got out of the room, rubbing his eyes, he called for Veera but no response came, baldev had climbed the stairs, and he was walking in Balveer's direction, he was not looking down, his eyes were in search of the family members, Balveer was very sleepy and they as a result, Balveer hit Baldev's legs, Baldev saw his head.
Baldev; are maaf krna beta tenu lagi to nhi.
Balveer looked up and Baldev was shocked, he felt as if watching a mirror which showed a child version of an adult.
Balveer; (in his innocent voice still unable to open his eyes) its okay, meri mom ko dekha he aapne?
Baldev sat down and held his shoulders. He was not sure whether this was real or a dream.
Baldev; beta aapki mom ka naam kya hai?
Balveer; Veera Singh
Baldev got tears in his eyes, this was his son! he had a son, he was already a father.
Baldev; acha! aur aur aapka naam kya hai beta?
Balveer; Balveer Baldev Singh
Baldev closed his eyes and then looked up, then he looked at Balveer again, he just couldn't believe his eyes, he pulled him into a tight hug.
Balveer; meri mom kahan he, aap kon ho?
Baldev; beta me..me aapka papaji hun, Baldev hun me..aapka papa
Balveer opened his eyes, he remembered suddenly that they were coming to meet him
Balveer; papa! (he said excited) aap mere papa ho
He pushed Baldev to get out of the hug and stared at his face.
Balveer; aap mere dad ho?
Baldev nodded with a smile, Balveer hugged him again very tightly.
Balveer; Papa! aap kahan the? i missed you so much, why didn't you come to meet me? why papa? mere sab friends ke papa unke saath the bas me.
Baldev; menu maaf krde puttar, i'm saary
Balveer giggled, and it filled Baldev's empty heart with happiness.
Balveer; saary nhi dad sorry.
they backed out from the hug.
Baldev picked him up and kissed his cheeks.
Baldev; puttar teri bg kitthe he?
Balveer; bg?
Baldev; oh teri maa, tu ki keh rha tha abhi..moom
Balveer; oh mom, I don't know
Baldev; Veera (he yelled) kahan chuppi bethi he? ab to bahar aaja
Balveer; mom!! mom
Veera came out of the room. Baldev looked at her and she looked at him, Baldev put Balveer down without breaking the eyelock. Balveer ran to Veera but Gunjan caught him and pulled him inside the room. Baldev and Veera walked towards each other and then just inches away they stopped and started at each other.

And then Baldev turned his face away.
Baldev; me tenu inni asani se maaf nhi karunga Veera, meri galti inni bhi wadi nhi thi, ke tu mujhse mere bache ko 3 saal tak door rakhe, balke mujhe to meri galti aaj tak samjh hi nahi ayi, tujhse abhi bhi utna hi pyar he menu, aur tab to ziada kyun ke tu mere puttar ki maa hai, par tenu maaf karna ab asaan nhi veera.
Veera; Baldev me tujhse maafi maangne nhi ayi yahan, apne bete ko uske baap ke paas lai hun bas. Uske peda hote hi aana chahti thi, par meri himmant nhi hui, aur shayad agar gunjan didi nahi aati t me kabhi wapas nhi aa pati
Baldev; apna saaman utha aur chal, tu meri voti he aur Balveer mera puttar, tum dono ko mere ghar pe hi rehna hoga.
Veera; me sham ko ajaongi abhi menu apne veerji ke saath rehna he
Baldev turned in anger.
Baldev; abhi ka matlab he abhi, saaman utha aur chal mere saath
Veera; Baldev mene kaha me sham ko aaongi to sham ko hi aaongi tab tak tu ja ke apne ghar pe sabko sach to bta de, aate hi teri bg ke taane nhi sunne mujhe.
Baldev; Veera tu..
Veera; tu menu force nahi kar skta..me wapas challi jaongi
Baldev caught her arm and pulled her.

Veera; Baldev menu dard ho rha he.
he loosened his grip and then Veera looked at him and they were lost in each other's eyes.
