exactly my thoughts. I liked the idea behind the scene, but you don't solve problems talking to your sleeping spouse.

The way I see it, she was not trying to solve.. She was expressing her heartfelt wishes because Toshiji gave her some hint that this might be more than stress about Romi... But next morning grumpy bear ( adorable one .. He looks even when he wakes up.. Sorry I got distracted😆) woke up with really bad hangover and attitude.. That even kept Mihir quiet.. She was trying to have a normal wifey conversation ... But he didn't meet her halfway, as with his filter on he's seeing everything as a ploy to fool him...because of what he had heard with his own ears and of course his past was not helping either... So I see it an effort on her side... Like the one he was trying the other day by rushing to clear his doubt... Yes they have a long way to go.. But what happened in this scene was not out of character .. Hence I loved it re...

But I can understand your POV too. That's what YHM writing is.. Leaves a. Lot upto viewer interpretation .. Some like it others don't... And both reactions very normal.
