Why doesn't pari get the comments about her weight like sonakshi does?

Parineeti is around the same weight as sonakshi.. But I've never really heard the comments directed at pari that sonakshi gets? Kinda strange considering both seem overweight to me!

Is it because sonakshis been more vocal about the weight comments and actually tried and failed to lose the weight?

Both look healthy, neither looks unpleasantly 'fat' and definitely not obese. It's only people here that go about commenting on weight.. I think maybe they are just built that way, otherwise, becoming skinny is no big deal at all, and they, unlike us commoners who have no option but to go jogging/skipping, can really invest in fitness, slimming and stuff like that.

Sonakshi is tall and has a big built..maybe thats why?..Sonakshi is also considered too old and mature looking to be paired opposite new gen actors unlike Parineeti...it has to do with the masala image attached to her probably
