Anushka ready to roll with her second production.
Even before her maiden production NH-10 hit the theatres, Anushka Sharma is getting ready to roll out her second venture. Anushka, who became one of the youngest actresses to turn producer when she and her brother Karnesh Sharma signed on Navdeep Singh to helm their debut project in November 2013, wants an encore. Navdeep has been asked to direct the next film too which will be entirely shot abroad.
Interestingly, she has also gone back to Sudip Sharma who has scripted her action thriller about a road trip gone wrong. The second film will roll sometime next year. Anushka and Navdeep are still debating if she should topline the cast.
Confirming the news, Anushka says, "I've always taken risks, and having my own production house allows me to push the envelope. I wish to continue collaborating with young, fresh minds and create cinema that truly excites me, both as a producer and as a viewer."
Adds Karnesh, "Our confidence has been boosted by our first production having shaped up really well."
