Has Preity Zinta lost her touch

Preity Zinta's career badly needs some uplift tratment just like her eyes. Aftre a string os successes in previous year the the pretty lass has had three successive failures in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Janeman and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom - for which she got a lot of flak. She is seriously going through a very lean patch and also began to look a bit jaded.

Preity must have been disappointed by the third successive failure from the Yash Raj Films banner once reputed to have the midas touch, because she doesn't have too many films lined up.

She will be next seen in Rituparno Ghosh's English language film The Last Lear that co-stars Amitabh Bachchan. The film, which is currently in post production, is experimental in nature and has little chance of setting cash registers ringing. At best it could reinforce Preity's image as a good actor.

Preity is currently filming Mera Bharat Mahaan which has lately been in the news because of problems on its sets in Roopnagar, Punjab.

I am really disappointed in the film choices Priety is making now-a-days...not every big banner means a guaranteed success at the box office...he should start paying more attention to the quality of the script rather than seeing how big the banner is....she's a really good actress, but she better start making good choices and not only doing Chopra or Johar films

priety, like most actors doesnt care bout scripts. but they care bout the banners. we, the audiences, dont care bout the banner we juss wanna c a good movie. but all the movies these days suck. only a few rock!!

Preity actually has never attempted anything that has been challenging enough to really call her the best of the best!...

she hasn't shown extraordinary acting skills in the past 9 years!!... i think she did well at the start of her career and then she did a brilliant job in kal ho na ho, but after that she has not shown anything worth appreciating or new at all!!

preity is not depicting versatility!.... she has never done a role for which u can call her a "great actress", therefore her career has been falling apart ever sicne Veer Zaara!......and recently after Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, one can tell that her career is really going down the drain!

she needs to do more versatile roles where she will be able to tap her acting potential even more. so far she seems to be stuck in the same type of roles in every single film.

she's a good actress but now its getting kinda boring seeing her do the same stuff over and over again.

I feel she is a good actress but never ahs had the oppurtunity to showcase her skills..For which to no small extend, she too should be blamed coz it seems she doesnt care abt the Script. but personally, I felt she was rocking in KANK! I think its one of her best performances. in KHNH too she was great...
But she has never attempted quality films..she herself said "I prefer Commercial films over art films"---

But I am waiting for The Last Lear. Rituparna Ghosh always gets the best out of his actors..hoping that the film proves her to be a good actress! 😊

i agree with dazzling and jonas, she's not paying enough attention 2 the script and is caring more about who the banner and co-stars are

i agree..she does play it safe, and needs to try and do more verstile. But then at the end of the day in a away id much rather see a commercial film then an art one, so i guess its gd shes doin the roles that people want 2 see her in. I tthink she shes undermined sumtimes 2..like in veer-zaara n kANK she was gr8 but was kinda sidelined coz of rani. its not just preity..rani hasnt had the gr8est yr..i mean films like baabul n Ta ra rum pum havent bin gr8.

totally agree....now-days every moive seemed to be showing more skin rather than a good story line...just cause a film has alot of profanity and skin revealing scenes, its not going to be a big hit........but yeah....only moives are actually good...
