This seriously happened: My Mother Reacting to YHM

Let me start with the fact that my mother loathes Indian TV. Loathes, being the keyword. To her Indian Television is garbage - one reason I had no access to Indian Television and had to literally fight for my rights to have Star One installed back when I followed PKYEK.

And today as I was watching YHM after ages my mom comes and watched the show with me. As I explain the basic premise and plot to her and watch the show at the same time. So basically she tells me to watch properly and waits for the advertisements to get over and what not. And when the she leaves and returns and advert for Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh comes on she literally tells me to switch back to the show we were watching. And I'm all like, I am on the same channel, this is just an advert for another tv show from the same production house. So they show goes on and she misses the whole precap bit and when she gets her attention back to the TV and I switch the TV off after the show ends, she basically goes like, why the heck did you switch the tv off, I was watching that.

And my aunt and I start laughing. Like legit laughing where I, who was standing, fall on the ground laughing and I roll on the floor laughing. The perfect GIF for ROFL and my mom's basically like what, and my aunt laughs and goes like, come back tomorrow 7:30 sharp.

(Yes, she did say that Divyanka looks extremely pretty and Karan acts well and their daughter is so cute. And she thought that Toshi was Ishita's mother rather than her mother in law.)
