Anushka Sharma Does Her First Item Song

Known to be a powerhouse performer, Anushka Sharma is not that into regular dance-and-song routine except on a few occasions where she shook her leg with her co-stars. To change the norm, she has done her first item song for her upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do.

Yes, Anushka Sharma will be seen in a full-fledged dance number for Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. The song is titled Swing, and Anushka will be seen gyrating to the hip tune a la her contemporaries Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and others on big screen.

Surprisingly, Zoya chose Anushka for the dance number, though the movie has Priyanka Chopra in the lead. Pee Cee has done a couple of item tracks in various films.

Sources claim that the song called 'Swing' also features Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah, but the spotlight is on Anushka who is performing her first full-fledged item number.

Anushka's character in the movie is said to be quite hippie. She plays Ranveer Singh's girlfriend. The actress has already shot for major portions of the film that brings her together with her ex-flame Ranveer after a hiatus.

Anushka Sharma will also be seen in a glam avatar in Bombay Velvet. In the movie she plays a jazz singer.

I liked Dum Dum and Jazba, but not Jiya, too OTT...

While I like anushka, i hope the movie tanks because i don't like zoya at all. She seems like somebody who looks down on directors who are not "intellectual" enough and make masala movies. That's the impression i got from her iv in kwk.
