NA and Shlok face off was the most awaited scene of all time in EBP. When Shlok told NA that he is leaving behind his name and his relation with his baba behind, it send shivers in me. His next action completely stumped me. 😲😲😲

You are wondering what, the one when he brings the copper lota and pours water on his right palm and then utters the words of renunciation of relation with his father and his name.

Shlok by doing this, by letting the water flow between his thumb and forefinger and spilling the water from the left side, is akin to doing the rituals for a dead person. So effectively, he considers his baba to be no more. According to him, he has performed the rites and is now a free man. He has attained MUKTI from the oppressive relation called BABA. He is free to pursue his own path and make his own name in the world on his own strengths.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anjali and Aastha both had stricken looks on their faces when they saw him do the above action as they very well understood what it meant, the significance of it.

The above scene was directed very well.👏👏👏 It is EBP of the scene when Anjali asks Aastha to choose between her mayka and her sasuraal. AAstha chose the latter and she also took water and poured it on the right side, meaning she did not cut ties or give up on her relation with her parents.

Thanks Divya. While seeing the repeat, it struck me that it was a significant devpt and scene. NA was till then very cool but when Shlok performed the action, he was simply stunned.

Both of them, Manish and Avinash were too good in the above scene.

Prads, the creatives and director played a lot of attention to the details. Loved it when Aastha was rubbing Shlok's back and when she hugged him during the suicide attempt. Loved it when Anjali waited for Shlok to open his arms to her before sobbing her heart out and when she held both his hands and wiped his tears joyfully. Loved it when Shlok took his ayi's hand and took her to NA and announced that she is ayi. And last but not the least, pouring the water signifying that his baba is no more.

I am also waiting to see how the new track shapes up, how Ashlok weather this new turn in their life. Want Shlok to lead this time and for Aastha to take a backseat for a while.
