But, truth is big ticket commercial films don't outrightly flop anymore since they recover a good chunk in the first weekend or so. It's very very hard for them to flop...they only underperform which is equivalent to a flop in public mind.

Hmm.. Still.. I'll stick to my over-promoted movies never flop theory. Big ticket or small. (Though there were some special cases.) And K-Jo has cracked the code.

These films only need mixed WOM anyways to do well. Issues mainly arise if the WOM is terrible a la Himmatwala/Joker/TMK types.

KJo has cracked the code for sure...big stars + overpromotion + great music + half decent film = big success.
