@pallavi my reply was only from why Suchitra did what she did. Coming to Dev he needs to grow up, come out of the past and see the present for what it is.

I dont think it was a sensible idea to ask your DIL to keep a KC vrat.

Firstly, let the woman decide if she wants to do it irrespective of the status of the marriage. Also, ' I wont keep the vrat 'cannot and should not decide the amount the sanskar this girl has.

Secondly, Suchitra knows Durga loved Shaurya and Dev loved Nitya. She needs to understand they need time to do such things.

Thirdly, when older member like Sakshi is not doing it, there is no reason why new generation be asked to do this.

Fourthly, a girl like Durga who knows the marriage is fake and also that she will leave this guy should not let her MIL force her to do it. Just say I am not comfortable with this vrat.
