What is a tv serial without Karwachauth. Even if you are creating a thriller, karwachauth cant be wished away. Especially if you have a motherinlaw who believes in karwachauth rituals.

The funniest scene was Raima touching Rajnath's feet.

Another funny scene was Dev retracting his feet and then forwarding them on his mother's instructions.

Another funny scene was Sakshi who does not believe in god(as she is the incarnation of satan), following these rituals with a big bindi and the works.

Kangana would have fasted if Karan was still there for her.

I liked the way Rajnath was trying to coverup his embarrassment when Raima touched his feet.

Sakshi had myriad expressions during those hours.

Serials without karwachauth can never climb up the trp charts. In the present scenario.

Hahaha, so now Dev Baba has sacred retractable feet which he doesnt want Durga to touch! 😆😆

Hes bestowing a favor upon Durga by letting her touch them, is he?

I wish somebody would pull his feet and make him fall on his dumb face! 😆

Seriously all this Pati Parmeshwar stuff in Hindi serials makes me sick! 🤢

They had to force such dakiyanoosi tracks into a thriller just to please some backward thinking trp viewers.

Most people will feel awkward when someone touches their feet and tend to retract. I thought Dev's reaction was completely normal.

Don't react negatively to everything. Be reasonable.

I agree to you Simmi. Even for marriage ceremonies the younger ones are asked to touch their elder's feet and I feel very awkward when my younger cousins or my hus's younger cousins does that. Leave cousins during thread ceremony even while kids try to touch my feet I feel uncomfortable. I prefer giving best wishes or hugging a lil one than allow them to touch my feet. But then elders don't allow and for ritual sake you need to do all these things.

So Dev's reaction was normal in the given circumstances.

@leavesandweaves I was not happy the way Durga kept fast for Suchitra's sake. But had to give to CVs for one thing. They didn't make Suchitra a typical saas who just ordered her bahu and sat back. She made her son come too. She did give Dev a piece of mind when she told he doesn't have any right to behave to Durga the way he does. He should have thought of all this before taking the step in the mandap. Dev needs to understand Durga is his wife now and Suchitra is doing her bit for the relation.

Also I was happy that Durga stopped Dayal from making call to Dev. It is better Dayal stopped talking about the deal with Dev and connect everything with that deal. A marriage has happened and for its sustenance respect and love is required, not business deals. It is better Dayal leaves that aspect to Suchitra than deal it himself.

Last but not least Durga was genuinely happy seeing Dev coming when Shaurya teased her she will have to break her fast with him.

So overall I was fine with the way things were carried out.

Im not being negative, Im making fun of the whole affair, this whole Karva Chauth and Vrat and Pati Parmeshwar's feet touching scenario in EHT, it doesnt belong in this show...hope you understand that!

All these rituals are meaningless in a marriage that doesnt exist.

Durga shd focus on her revenge plans instead of catering to her MIL's wishes and fasting and touching her husband's feet.

@pallavi we viewers know Devga marriage is a deal. But Suchitra doesn't. For her Devga marriage happened under some unforeseen circumstances. Durga had loved Shaurya, Dev had loved Nithya. So she knows both people are not comfortable in the marriage.

So she as a mother is doing her bit to ensure that their life will progress in a good manner from that point. Atleast let bygones be bygones.

Any mother would want that. She is just making them do things so that they try to appreciate each other. Slowly they respect and then let love come in that marriage.

So she requested her DIL to keep fast and then she herself ensured that her son supported her DILs effort.

Understand that any good mother will do what Suchitra did with the knowledge she had. It is not only the girl's life in question, it is about her son too.

But have to give it to Suchitra to remind Dev of taking responsibility for his decision. She had given him choice to refuse but he did not. Now that he took the decision she is asking him to own that decision.

This is the difference between her and other Goenka couple as parents. The other parents never made their kids take responsibility for their decisions and actions. This is why their kids suck.

Aunties must be happy as these are the only things they understand.

I understand why Suchitra is doing this, she wants both her son and Durga to be happy and have a normal marriage.

But why is Dev treating Durga like crap? Why doesnt he rage at Dayal who had made the deal with him? Durga didnt EB him to marry her, Dayal did!

Dev is taking out his anger and frustrations on Durga just because shes a female?

Hes acting all high and mighty with Durga...WHY? How is it her fault if Suchitra asked her to do KC?

He shd appreciate that Durga is respecting his mom's wishes!

Hes just one of those men who are "Ghar me sher, Baahar mein chuha" 😆
