As the episode begins, the camera focuses on Nidhi's face as she is getting ready for the photoshoot. It looks like the make-up man is just giving finishing touches, when there is a knock on the makeup-van and the make-up man opens the door to see it's the director.

He looks apologetically at Nidhi, "Sorry Nidhi, looks like Ashutosh is late. He promised that he will wrap up his shoot and rush over. It was actually so nice of him to agree to do this ad at such a short notice."

Nidhi, still looking at her reflection in the mirror and signaling to the hairstylist to correct a strand of her hair, responds, "Its okay, I understand. Just lemme know when he arrives and everything's ready."

The director nodded gratefully, and walked back to the set as he thanked his stars for an understanding model. A supermodel so much in demand, yet so down to earth. Ashutosh was already late by 20 minutes. Any other model would have thrown temper tantrums by now. But Nidhi Verma had no airs about her. Success had not made her forget her middle class roots, mused the director with a smile. Working with her had always been relatively stress-free and easy.

The next shot is that of Ashutosh still in the same position, with a glass of whisky in one hand and his eyes still on the photograph in the newspaper that is held in his other hand. A lats, he looks at his watch, gives himself a satisfied half-grin and picks up his phone to make a call to his driver, "Bring around the car" he says shortly and hangs up. He gulps down the remnants of the whiskey from his glass, gets up, checks himself in the mirror and then walks towards the main door of his spacious-looking apartment, as the camera zooms out and the shot is cut.

The car comes to a smooth stop and the back door flings open. Ashutosh rushes out even before his driver can open the car he runs inside. The next shot is that of the director waiting anxiously. As soon as he sees Ashutosh though, he is relieved and runs towards him, "Hi Ashutosh, we were just waiting for you."

"I am extremely sorry Sir, my shoot took longer and then the famous Mumbai traffic!", says Ashutosh apologetically.

The director gives him a half-smile, "Thanks for coming at such a short notice (Ashutosh nods in acknowledgment). Everything's ready. Please get ready. I am just sending in your costumes."He nods and walks away.

As he comes out, he sees Nidhi in a black dress, listening in rapt attention. His gaze lingers on her for a while before she turns back, sees him and gives him a smile. He returns the smile as both walk towards each other. After a formal hug and peck on the cheek, they turn their attention to the director as he explains the scene.

Break:

Tussle between Ashutosh and Nidhi? Is it a plain man-woman thing or is it the different methods of coping and supporting each other through deep-rooted pain/loss that's making them misunderstand each other?

Episode resumes after break:

"I am sorry, we need to take a small break as Ashutosh's costumes are not ready yet. You know, this last moment replacement and all.."

Both nod at the director in understanding and walk away from the sets. Nidhi takes out her phone from her bag, saying to Ashutosh, "I'll see you in a while" and speed-dials Rohan.

"Excuse me Nidhi", says Ashutosh, "if you don't mind, can I ask you out for a coffee?"

She cuts the call before Rohan could pick up as she asks, "Coffee? When?"

"Right now!"

Her eyes widened in surprise, "Now? Where can we go now? Besides, looks like we are the paparazzi's faves these days.."

He nods with a wry smile, "hmm.. I know. But we can just have relax with coffee in my makeup van.."

She thinks for a while, "ummm.. okay sure, I will just change and come." And as she leaves from there, some fans barge in asking for autographs and photographs with her, the security trying to stop them in vain.

Since they are school kids, she happily indulges and obliges them. In all the ruckus, he phone slips from her hand without her knowledge, and Ashutosh discretely picks it up and turns towards his makeup van before the kids could see or stop him. He smiled to himself as he thought of the advantages of being the lesser known celebrity.

The next shot is that of Ashutosh awaiting Nidhi in his spacious make-up van, her phone still in her hand. He was checking out the picture gallery and it irked him to see that most of the pics were of Nidhi with Rohan. He felt like crushing the phone. But on second thought, he questioned himself why did he feel so jealous of Rohan? It was public knowledge that he was Nidhi's fianc. He knew his feelings for Nidhi were all wrong! Yet why did he feel this possessiveness when he saw Nidhi with Rohan? He knew he had no right to even harbor such feelings for her, then why? Why this pull? Why he had always seen Nidhi as his own, in spite of knowing about her relationship with Nidhi? What was it that was tying them together?

Just then, the van door opens and her phone too rings at the same time. It is Rohan. Ashutosh swiftly cuts the call before turning around to go out to welcome her.

"Please come in.", says with a smile as he offers his hand to her to help her step in. she accepts the outstretched hand with a smile.

As soon as she was seated, he gave her the phone, "I think its yours?"

"oh yes!" she exclaims, "Where did you find it? Ii was looking for it everywhere.. The poor spotboys are still looking for it."

"I found it on the floor and had the idea that it was probably yours, so I thought I will hand it over when you come here."

"Oh! How thoughtful of you! Thanks a lot. This phone is very special to me! It was gifted by Rohan."

Ashutosh looked away from her as he muttered an inaudible curse under his breath.

She asks, "I'm sorry, did you say something?"

He turns towards hers, give a light shake of his head, and asks, "coffee?"

She smiles, "sure."

He calls out, "Abdul, coffee please!"

After an awkwatrd silence, Nidhi tries to break the ice with, "So, Ashutosh, what are your hobbies?"

He looks straight into her eyes, "You!'

She is surprised, "Cuse me?"

He nods sincerely, "Yes, You."

She looks at him confused so he continues, "Yes I love you Nidhi".

Break:

She looks at him completely aghast and then, breaks into a light hearted laughter. He looks at her adoringly and she catches that look and says between that laughter, "now, please don't give me that clichd line of "your laugh is so beautiful and all that!"

He continues to look at her in the same way, "No, I was just wondering if I could reserve this laugh of yours to myself"

"What!" and she again laughs.

Just then the shot angle changes to reveal Abdul walking towards them with a tray in his hands. He keeps the tray on the small teapoy and leaves.

Nidhii was surprised as she saw the cookies that accompanied the coffee.

"Oh these are my ..." She could not complete the sentence, for, Ashutosh interrupted her, "your one weakness, the other being fried cashews"

She was getting increasingly surprised now As he continued, "but you have great control over your cravings. So you restrict your intake to one blueberry cookie and exactly 4 pieces of cashews every week and you indulge in these only on Sundays and after your small indulgence, you gym for an extra hour."

She slowly gets over her surprise after a few seconds and says as a matter of fact, "if you know so much, then you must also know that under no circumstances do I take cookie on any day except Sunday. Today is Saturday"

Ashutosh says smugly, "I am sure you can break your rule theirs once for my pleasure!"

She is enjoying the banter now and says tentatively, "you are too sure of yourself!"

"Nope!" He counters, "I am sure of you"

The way he said that, she wonders how she can tell him that she only relishes the cookie with her favourite coffee. She says, "okay I will break my rule on one condition, that you will tell me how you know so much about me."

He thinks for a while, then smiles, "Okay"

She bites into the cookie and picks up the coffee mug to take a sip. Her eyes widen yet again, "this is my favourite.."

He again completes for her, "Starbucks houseblend coffee flavored with hazelnut syrup!"

She rolled her eyes, "oh well, by now I should have known better than to be surprised. Now its revelation time! How do you know all this?"

He shrugs, "I told you already! I love you! As simple as that!"

Now, she is mildly irritated, "Ashutosh!!"

Just then, they hear some commotion outside.

Nidhi is dismayed to see press there, "oh no! I can't afford one more scandal."

He winks at her, "What's a celeb's life without scandals?!!"
