In a way what karthik told make sense..Always it is better to avoid a personal relationship or conversation within a team and a manager..It is my view..In order to avoid no one take advantage of it...

Being proffessional is best way to succed.if you are helpful & sincere in professional way team will like you personally too.vichu sir best example. this is my pov .

I wouldn't like to have a manager like Karthi. Nalla boss ah iruppathukku oru team member udaiya soolalum therinthu irukkanum. Vichu Sir used to know the personal problems and help them with kind advices.

But from Karthik's point of view it's understandable. He drinks at night so it's obviously better not to be in touch with his team after working hours. Paiyan thappidan. 😉

Too much personal relationship illanaamum boss should be at least approachable..
