Avni and Raj

As we saw in the episode where avani went to raj's house after the marriage breaking and near the end avni put raj'so hand on her head and said to swear on her life that he never loved her and he said he doesn't love her... doesn't make sense to me.. Doesn't raj have a tattoo of Avni's name on his back and same with avni but in Chinese.. [BR]
