What a sad coincidence!!

After watching Nikhil's reaction yesterday...it pained me so much that can love and trust be so brittle?!! It made me see Nikhil- laajo's relationship with a new perspective!! I started thinking how it all started...then I made a startling discovery...a sad coincidence which made me wonder how events of life repeat again and again when changes have to be ushered in...well I will explain what it is:

Nikhil had to marry Laajo as he had to spend night with her on the river bank...and more so because the people of the village saw him lifting her up in his arms and carrying her all through the village to reach her home. At that time he did it only for the sake of humanity, but Sonbarsa people misunderstood this gesture and Laajo's character was questioned and to save her reputation Nikhil unwillingly married her.

Now back to the present, Nikhil saw Laajo in Sagar's arms!! then he did exactly the same thing that the people of Sonbarsa did to him and Laajo!! he questioned her character!!😲 Little did he think to seek the truth!!

Here the incidents may have repeated and victim is the same Laajo but the oppressors have changed!! Its such an irony that a person who saved Laajo from humiliation today is humiliating her!!🤢

But friends here Nikhil is more guilty than the people of Sonbarsa. The village people have a mindset which is conservative and then they did not have any relation to Laajo !! only that she was the resident of their village and they did not want the girls of the village to emulate her ( as they believed what they saw!!😕)

Now coming to Nikhil, he is a well-bred city dweller so called the reformed and cosmopolitan!!

Laajo is his wife and he is so much in love with her!!😛 Then how could he be so conservative in thought to just rest his case on Laajo without giving her a fair chance to defend herself?!! this shows the mental as well as the social degradation of Nikhil's character!!🤢

Does coming from high society mean that our mindsets have changed? After seeing Nikhil's actions I feel his case is more worst than those people of Sonbarsa!!😡

What a sad coincidence!! Will Nikhil ever introspect ?!! We felt the people of Sonbarsa were demonic when they dictated terms to Laajo's family...but isn't the same demons ruling over Nihkil's mind today?!!😲 It seems Nikhil and many people never learn the lessons which life throws at them again and again!!

Varsha you have carried out a very good analysis of comparing the behaviour of the folks at Sonbarsa and Nikhil's behaviour, very similar in reaction indeed.⭐️

I do think feel that Nikhil's initial thoughts would be correct in his initial reaction but he should have waited for an explaination from Sagar, also it was obvious that Laajo was not looking well.

It was Jasmine's poison which erupted in his fragile mental state and resulted in him spouting utter

rubbish from his mouth.

Laajo was correct in slapping the idiot, and for asking him to leave.👏👏

Thanks Jatinder, If you carefully look there are many such coincidences where Nikhil has behaved in contrast.Even in the Sid episode, Nikhil instilled his faith in Laajo as he believed that she will never lie. But now he doesn't want to hear her out that's because of prejudice he has for Sagar and Laajo's slap made it even more worst. I can understand that it is difficult for any man to see his wife in the arms of another man , and I agree that his outburst for Sagar was perfectly alright but he behaved the same way with his wife whom he loved so much and that was so bad!! It showed he is keeping Sagar and Laajo on the same plane of judgement. Where did the trust disappear...why did he not think twice when he was questioning his wife's character?!! that needed a tight slap!! 😡

Nikhil had become so blind and deaf that any explanation from Laajo would not convince him so Laajo asked him to leave...yet that idiot thought it otherwise!!😡

It is difficult to call something true or fake as situations change and so do people some gradually and some unpredictably fast!! Nikhil loves Laajo so he is possessive and he expects her to do as he wants...so there is new addition to his love that is selfishness!! Like a child loves his toys but if you tell him to share it with other child only for time being...he gets angry, doubtful and is never comfortable and in this situation if someone tells him that the other child will take it with him..then you know what happens!!🤢 Nikhil is being just that childish!!😡

BUT...now this but is must here... even a saint would misjudge the situation...u have to be brahm gayani to not do so...as I read some where jatinder wrote initial outburst and reaction of Nikhil was ok...it was afterwards that was wrong... I feel any one would have jumped at same conclusion, in case of Nikhil and Laajo he had spent a night out in open with him, he saved her life etc. etc etc...but here Laajo was in single room with a guy, Sagar and she should have tried another hotel ,Agara doesn't have only one hotel. He could have left Laajo there and gone to another hotel. Sharing a room at least in Indian standards is wrong I feel.

I think though Nikhil should have thought afterwards about how much laajo had endured and how in past he has been made fool by ishaana and his mom.He should have then thought about how his and Laajo's situation got misinterpreted , also his choice of words was wrong and vulgar...hence he deserved that slap...but both Laajo and Sagar also have hand in it.

Now Laajo wont forgive him that easily, this must prove much harder than in past...Nikhil crossed the line here but destiny along with 3 idiots and one psycho were not on Laajo and Nikhil's side today...

Hi sami, good to see you back on the forum. We have missed your thoughts.

Nikhil's predicament is as the saying goes, "between a rock and a hard place" . He just can not win. The biggest problem for him is, himself, Nikhil.😡

Nikhil is low on confidence at the best of times. He is sorrounded by powerful, successful women and weak male role models.

Having said that 9 out of 10 guys in Nikhil's shoes would have reacted in the same manner, many would have had a physical fight with Sagar and worse!

I am not saying even for a second that I agree with the language he used or his behaviour, but, still it is understandable.

Nick should have trusted Laajo.

I do hope that we move on from this story line fast.
