Hey guys,
We got a request from Admin.
Our ultimate aim is to make IF the No. 1 site to discuss television serials and this way, make it different from all other forums/ sites which discuss television. To achieve that, we need to ensure that we dont indulge in idle chit chat on the forum. We need to make our forum the wittiest, best and the most engaging forum where we discuss the lives and doings of our favourite stars on screen and off screen, and have good, sensible, funny yet concrete discussions on them. To do this, we need to avoid topics like this. Its a post by dia5, a newbie, asking for help. No doubt, the member is a newbie and is not yet fully conversant with all the functions of IF, but we, senior members are available to make them aware of all the features etc. For precisely such doubts and questions, we have the Private messaging. Use PM for such doubts.
We will soon have a lot of members turning goldies, etc. Avoid making posts like I am a goldie etc. or I am to be a goldie. These status indicators are only an indication of how long you have been in the IF and nothing more. So while it is good, lets not go overboard with all the congo messages. Use PM for that. Everyone who sees your posts, know that you have become a goldie, so there really speaking is no need for such posts.
Instead, lets have good discussions on the serial, on topics related to Remix and other star one serials (in respective sections).
Any of you who have any suggestions or even problems with I have said above, you are welcome to make your suggestions or complaints here. By discussions we are sure to come up with better ideas for sure, hence My announcement here. Please come back with your ideas to make IF a better place!!
