Combined Written Update for Jamai Raja for 10th and 11th October 2014

DD finds out about the incident and taunts Sid for everything, when Roshni comes in and insults DD. She reminds her that she is not doing anything as a favor, and that they're paying her for using her house and stuff. DD is hurt and goes away, crying. Sid wonders as to what can he do to unite the mother-daughter duo.

Sid tries to console Roshni but she's too angry. She throws away the food he brought her in anger, and then realises what he did. She apologises, and he promises to make things better.

One of the employees in the office is being molested by a client, and Sid steps in to intervene and support her. DD comes in as well and makes the employee beg for forgiveness, and takes the client into her cabin. Sid decides to do something about it.

Sid comforts the client and tells her he'll sort things out, and holds her hand. Bablu sees them and is suspicious.

Roshni is going to the market, when Mona offers her a life. Roshni declines, and Mona is proud of her. Mona, Resham and Roshni share a cute banter.

Roshni calls Sid and asks him to come home early. When he does, he sees smoke coming out of the kitchen and finds Roshni covered in atta. Resham, Mona and Sid laugh at her but she shoos them away.

Sid consoles Roshni, who is crying cause she can't cook for her husband, and is a failure. He tells her that he loves her and she doesn't need to do anything to prove her love for him. She also mentions how DD has never cooked for her, and then Sid realises he has to do something about it.

The next day, Sid indirectly taunts DD about being a fabulous businesswoman but being a lousy cook. Everyone in the house is shocked, and DD is angry at his statements. DD shouts at him, but he just acts innocent and tells her how she's a lousy cook but he's a damn good one. She takes this as a challenge and the two of them take on a cooking competition.

DD and Sid go into the kitchen to cook, and the rest of the family is watching. Sid loses intentionally, in an attempt to let Roshni eat the food her mother's cooked for her. DD gloats about her win, and tells Roshni that she's made her favorite Gujarati food. Roshni taunts DD about how she should've cooked many years back, when she was little, and takes Sid's food and goes in. Sid eats DD's food in an attempt to make Roshni try it too, but to no avail. DD is teary eyed and walks away. Sid prays for a miracle so that Roshni'll eat the food. Later in the evening, though, when Roshni goes into the kitchen to find water, she sees the food prepared by DD in the fridge and tastes it, and cries on eating it. Sid sees this and is happy.

Sid calls his mother and informs him of the happenings, and she is proud of him. She asks him to try coming home to celebrate the festive season with them.

Nani returns home and Roshni is elated. Sid gets a call from his company and promises to go there before office. Kesar teases him about an ex girlfriend, but he casually laughs it off and leaves.

Nani and Roshni decide to go for a pravachan, and Nani's happy to see the change in Roshni. Kesar sees the employee and Sid together and suspects the two of them.

Simran is making arrangements for the pravachan, which is the same pravachan where Roshni and nani are off too. Simran wishes that Roshni could've been there.
