Part 3

The next day, Raman got up. It was a beautiful and refreshing Sunday morning.

However, he had not forgotten last night's insult. He took his phone and dialled Shagun's number.

Shagun - Oh Raman! Good morning!

Raman - Good morning dear. How are you doing?

Shagun - Oh don't ask! I have never been this hungover! I am having a terrible headache! I shouldn't have had so many drinks.

Raman - Oh. So do you remember anything that happened last night?

Shagun - Huh...what are you saying? I don't remember a thing. Did something happen?

Raman was glad she didn't even remember one bit about her altercation with Ishita yesterday. He didn't want Shagun to get a whiff of his revenge plan. He just wanted her to stay of this entire drama. Hence, the less she knew the better.

Raman - No nothing, just asking generally. I wanted to check how drunk you were!

Shagun - Hehe, you devil! Anyways, since today is Sunday would you like to go for lunch?

The idea of a Sunday lunch was very appealing. But then Raman realized that he needed to think about implementing his Revenge on Ishita' plan.

Raman- Actually, let it be. I have some urgent office work to look after today so I won't be able to make it. Why don't we postpone it to next Sunday? Also you better take rest today. You had too many drinks last night.

Shagun - Okay some other time then.

He hung up the phone.

Raman - Ishita, you wait and watch.

Raman got up. He brushed his teeth, freshened up and went to the dining room for breakfast. Mummy ji was waiting for him.

Mummy ji - Raman! Good morning! How was the party?

Raman - Yeah, it was fine

Mummy ji - What happened beta? Is something wrong?

Raman - No nothing, it was the same as usual like any other party. Actually, I have some important work so I will be in my study after breakfast

Mummy ji - Okay

Raman finishes his breakfast quickly and heads for his study room

Mummy ji (to herself) - I wonder what happened to him? He seemed a bit lost. Hey Bhagwan, please help my child and protect him always.

Raman entered his study and called up his secretary, Sarika

Raman - Hello, Sarika

Sarika - Yes, sir. How are you doing this fine Sunday morning?

Raman - I am very fine thank you. Anyways, I had some urgent work from you. I want you to go to office and access the employees' database. I wanted information about Mr Vishwanathan Iyer from the Sales department. I want every information related to him; his family, his address everything. And don't worry; I know I am ruining your Sunday, so I will allow you to come late tomorrow!

Sarika - Okay Sir, Sarika at your service!

Sarika hangs up the phone. Raman hi-fied himself as the Phase 1 of his revenge plan was put in motion. About two hours later, his phone rings.

Raman - So, what did you find?

Sarika - Okay here's what I found. Mr. Vishwanathan Iyer, Age 54. Qualifications B.Com, M.Com. He is working in our company for the past 5 years. He had a government job before. He is the Head of the Sales department. According to his address, he lives in Mahim, Mumbai. He has a wife, a daughter and a son. His wife, Madhavi Iyer, is a housewife. His younger daughter, Mihika Iyer, is a student, while his elder daughter, Ishita Iyer, is working.

Raman - Very good, I am impressed. Now, I want you to find any information you can about Ishita Iyer. Use Facebook, Twitter whatever. Tell me all you can find about her.

Sarika - Okay, Sir.

After a while, Sarika calls up again

Sarika - Okay, sir. I think you will have to give me an off tomorrow! Finding information on her was tough but I managed find something. I found her Facebook profile. Her name is Ishita Iyer, Age 23. She has done her MBA from NMIMS. She was an honour student there. After she completed her MBA, she was recruited in Richlife Finance by their campus recruitment agency. She works as a PA in that company. Also, she won the gold medal in her final year. Her hobbies include reading, singing, dancing and watching TV and movies. That is all I could find.

Raman - Good Sarika, you did well. Your holiday is granted on the condition that you will not tell anyone about this work I told you to do. Not even Shagun, Okay?

Sarika - Okay Sir! My lips are sealed! I will not tell anyone. And thank you for the holiday!

Raman - Okay, thank you, bye.

Raman hung up the call and smirked that Phase 1 of his revenge plan had been successful.

Raman (to himself) - Hehe, Ishita. You are dead now! I have a stake in Richlife Finance. I can easily tell them to do anything with your job! You haven't realized that your feisty nature has landed you in big trouble. But still, it makes you even more a Hottie!

Ishita, on the other hand was unaware of what hell was going to break loose in her life. She was enjoying the Sunday with her family. She had just finished lunch and was going to play a round of cards with Mihika.

Mihika - What game do you want to play?

Ishita - Lets play Penalty!

After playing three rounds, they decided to end the game.

Ishita - Okay, that's enough for today! I want to sleep for a while now!

Mihika - Okay

Raman on the other hand had spoken to the CEO of Richlife Finance regarding Ishita.

Raman - As you see Mr CEO, one of your employees Ms Ishita Iyer seriously misbehaved with one of ours, I would want you to take strict action against her. As you know, I have stake in your company so I can also ask favours from you

CEO - But Sir, she is one of the best employees in our office. I can't take any action against her for an incident that occurred outside the office

Raman - I don't know anything about that. But if you refuse to take action against her, I will cut off all my funding to your company

After hearing this, the CEO really got scared. He didn't want to be fired for cutting off the funds to the company. He knew that if he didn't listen to Raman then their company would be in trouble as Raman had a lot of influence on the markets.

CEO (in tension) - Okay Sir, tell me how can I help you?

Raman - I want you to fire Ishita Iyer!

CEO - But Sir, I need to give her a reason. I can't fire her just like that!

Raman - That is not my concern! That is for you to think! But if you don't then you know the consequences

CEO - Okay Sir, I will do as you say

Raman hung up the phone. He smirked as he knew that Phase 2 of his plan had been successful!

Raman - Ishita, now just wait and watch what will happen to your life!

Ishita, on the other hand just woke up from her afternoon siesta. It was 4 pm already. The Monday blues had begun to set in. She felt bad that her weekend was over and proceeded to prepare for work the next day. She opened her cupboard and saw the cerulean blue anarkali suit which she wore yesterday. It reminded her of the squabble with Shagun.

Ishita(sighing) - I wonder why did she pick on me? There were Ammany other women there wearing anarkali suits. Then why me? [Raman (breaking the fourth wall) - Well, because you looked hot in it and Shagun was filled with envy!]. And Mr. President, he seemed smart and intelligent then why did he refuse to listen to my side of the story?

Even though Ishita was fearless and smart, she was highly innocent. When people picked on her, she didn't understand that they did so because they were envious of her beauty and her feisty nature.

Madhavi (yelling) - Ishita! Are you busy right now?

Ishita - No Amma! Koi help chahiye kya?

Madhavi - Ha beta, I wanted some items for tonight's dinner. Could you go along with Mihika and buy it? Take this list along, it has everything that is required

Ishita - Okay, Mihika! Chalo, let's go!

Mihika - Ha Akka, chalo chalte hai

Raman had just left his house with his chauffeured car. He had to attend an event in which he was invited as the chief guest. He was sitting in his car and relaxing, when he saw Ishita and her brother walking on the road.

Raman - Oh wow! Ms Ishita the Hottie! I wonder where is she headed?

Raman tells the chauffeur to pull up close to the siblings. Ishita is shocked with the car pulling up in front of her. The glasses roll down and she sees Raman's face!

Ishita - Uh Mr President! What are you doing here?

Raman (thinking) - Oh, so its jeans and a pink kurta today! Very impressive!

Ishita - Umm...Mr President?

Raman - Oh sorry I was heading for an event and I saw you here. Do you live here?

Raman knew she lived in that area only. He was just trying to strike up a conversation.

Ishita - Yes, I do. Oh and I forgot to introduce to you my sister, Mihika

Raman (thinking) - Oh so she is her sister! (to Mihika) Hello Mihika

Mihika - Hello

Raman (to Ishita) - So where are you headed?

Ishita - To the supermarket to buy things

Raman - Then hop in, I'll drop you there

Ishita - No, its fine we'll go walking. Anyways, aapko ulta padega.

Raman - Oh that's not a problem. Just consider my lift as an apology for whatever happened yesterday.

Ishita - No it's really not a problem

Mihika - Kya hua kal, Akka?

Ishita - I will tell you later.

Raman - Please, let me give you a lift, I insist.

Ishita - Okay, as you say

Ishita and Mihika sat in the car, a Mercedes. Mihika was awed by it. Ishita didn't speak a word.

Raman - So where is the supermarket?

Ishita - I will give you the directions

She gives them the directions and the chauffeur follows them. They reach the entrance of the supermarket. Ishita and Mihika get out of the car.

Ishita - Thank you for the lift, Mr President

Raman - No need for that, it's my pleasure! Bye

Ishita - Bye

Ishita and Mihika head into the supermarket. Raman looks at her dainty figure disappear slowly and tells the chauffeur to take the car ahead.

Raman - Wow Ishita! You are really impressive! You can make anyone crazy for you without even saying a word! And your outfit made you look so hot today! But still that is no excuse for insulting me, my Hottie!

Meanwhile, Ishita and Mihika were loading the cart with their requirements. She wanted to keep herself occupied by loading the cart as she didn't want Mihika to ask about yesterday's incident. But she asked her anyway.

Mihika - Akka, who was that? And why was he apologizing to you?

Ishita - He is the President of the company in which Appa works. He was at the party yesterday.

Mihika - Yeah okay but why was he apologizing to you?

Ishita didn't want to tell him the truth as she had promised her father. So she twisted things a little.

Ishita - Oh that! He was sorry because...he crashed into me yesterday while hurrying towards the washroom!

Mihika - Baap re! Itni badi apology for just crashing into you! Isn't it a bit too much?

Ishita - Just let it be na! Bade log hai! Chhodo! Let us pay for everything

Ishita and Mihika made their way to the checkout counters. They paid for their items and headed home. After reaching home, Ishita helped her mother to prepare the dinner. By 8 pm, the dinner was ready and they sat to eat. All of them thoroughly enjoyed and soon it was time to go to bed. Ishita lied down on the bed and slept immediately.

Raman returned home at about 11 pm from the event. He changed his clothes and tucked himself into bed

Raman - Ishita the Hottie, your life will change tomorrow!

Precap - Ishita gets the shock of her life.

Part 4

It is Monday morning. Ishita gets up at 7 am. She goes for a bath and prayed for a good day at work. She got dressed, wearing a smart knee-length skirt and a blazer, which accentuated her curves. Her mother had made her lunch tiffin and she was about to leave for office.

Ishita - Amma, I am leaving, I will be back by evening! Bye!

Madhavi - Ha beta, bye

Ishita walked towards the nearest bus stop from her house. She got a bus immediately, which would take her to her office in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai. The bus stopped opposite her office complex and she got down. She punched in for the day and proceeded to her desk. Her colleague, Vandita had already reached.

Vandita - Hey Ishita! How was the weekend?

Ishita - It was great Vandita. How was yours?

Vandita - Oh it was awesome! I was out with my boyfriend the entire time. We shopped, ate, drank and even...

Ishita - Umm...okay no need for that information!

Ishita knew what Vandita had done with her boyfriend. It was just that she was shy to discuss about these things with her. She didn't have a speck of knowledge about these matters.

Ishita - Okay, we need to get to work otherwise boss will fire us.

Ishita and Vandita completed all the work that was assigned to them till lunch break. Both of them then sat together for lunch and Vandita told her that it is getting very difficult to live in Mumbai nowadays with the rising costs and that this job is very important to her. Their lunch break got over and they proceeded to their desks for completion of the other work assigned to them.

It was about 5 pm. Ishita was about to complete the last bit of work when she was called in by the secretary of the CEO

Secretary - Ishita Iyer!

Ishita - Yes, what happened?

Secretary - The CEO wants to meet you right away. It is urgent.

Ishita - Okay, I'll be right there.

Ishita left her desk and rushed towards the CEO's office.

Ishita (thinking) - I wonder what is it?

Ishita reaches the office. She knocks and enters the office.

CEO - Yes, Ishita. Please take a seat.

Ishita - Thank you

CEO - Ishita, we have to very sadly inform you, that we are laying you off

Ishita couldn't believe what she was hearing. She was trying to comprehend the CEO's words until she realized what he was saying.

Ishita - But Sir, what wrong did I do Sir? And you can't lay me off at such a short notice!

CEO - I understand Ishita you are shocked. But I am afraid I can't help it. We had to lay off many other employees as well

Ishita - But Sir, I have worked in this company for almost a year! How can you lay me off?

CEO - Ishita, our company is short of funds. And that is why we can't afford to pay your salary

Ishita - Okay, since when should I stop reporting to work?

CEO - Tomorrow itself

Ishita was angry and upset at the same time. She felt as if life was playing a cruel joke on her.

Ishita - But Sir, how can you do this? You are laying me off without even a day's notice! This is not fair!

CEO - We can lay off employees for lack of funds without any advanced notice. Here is your resignation letter. Please take it along with you before leaving.

Ishita - Okay, Sir. Thank you

Ishita took the letter and left the office without a word. She felt that her entire world had come crashing down. She thought that how would she face her parents. She started packing the stuff on her desk.

Vandita - What happened? Why are you packing all your things?

Ishita couldn't control her tears. She started crying inconsolably

Ishita - They layed me off!

Vandita - What! At such a short notice! How could they? What reason did they give you?

Ishita - They said that they were lacking funds to pay my salary! How is that even possible?

Vandita hugged Ishita, who was on the verge of an emotional breakdown. Vandita consoled Ishita saying that she could apply elsewhere and with her record she could get a job very easily.

Ishita - Vandita, I know that I will easily get another job. But what am I supposed to tell Amma and Appa?

Vandita - Don't worry Ishita, see just tell uncle and aunty that these a*****es layed you off without any notice! If you want I'll come along with you to tell them!

Ishita - I don't know yaar

Vandita - Ishita! I'll drop you home in my car today! We will talk to your parents and I will help you search for a job! And no ifs and buts!

Ishita - Okay, but first let me go to the bathroom. I need to wash my face! I look like a horror show!

Vandita - Okay, Ishita make it quick!

Ishita went to the washroom, washed her face and straightened out her hair. She returned to Vandita. The present circumstances were really troubling her.

Vandita - Ishita, chalo lets take you home

Both of them headed to the parking lot. They sat in Vandita's car and headed to Ishita's home.

Ishita - Vandita, I am really tensed yaar. I don't know how Amma and Appa will react.

Vandita - Don't worry, we'll talk to them

They reached Ishita's apartment building. Vandita parked her car inside the compound and they headed to her house. Vandita rang the doorbell and Madhavi opened the door.

Madhavi - Vandita beta, you and...Ishita! How come you are home so early?

Ishita on seeing her mother started crying and ran to hug her tightly.

Madhavi (in tension) - Arree Ishita, what happened? And why are you crying? Did someone do something to you?

Vandita - Aunty, aayiye sofe par baithkar baat karte hai

All of them sit on the sofa and Vandita tells Madhavi everything that happened.

Madhavi - Oh Ishita! But how did this happen?

Ishita - They told me that they were laying me off because the company could not pay my salary! But I think it is just an excuse to kick me out!

Madhavi - Aww...beta come here let me give you a hug

Madhavi hugged Ishita and she started crying again. Madhavi told her to stop crying.

Vandita - Aunty, I am going to help her find a job. I will prepare her CV and help her apply everywhere.

Madhavi - But beta, won't you be busy with your own office work?

Vandita - Don't worry, I'll do anything for Ishita.

Vandita sat for an hour at Ishita's house. Later, she decided to leave for home.

Vandita - Okay Ishita, I have to leave for home now. Oh God! I won't be seeing you tomorrow! I am going to miss you a lot!

Ishita - I will miss you too!

They hugged each other and both started crying again. Vandita had become Ishita's special friend in the one year she had worked at Richlife. She was the only person in office with whom she could share everything that mattered to her. She was going to miss all the fun and chattering they did in the middle of their work. Vandita then left Ishita's house. The next thing troubling Ishita was how she was going to tell her father that she was layed off. Later that evening, Vishwanathan returned from work.

Ishita - Hello, Appa

Vishwanathan - Arree Ishu beta you came home so soon! Jaldi chhod diya kya?

Ishita - Appa, I have to tell you something

Ishita then told her father how she had been layed off without any prior notice and without any definite reason.

Vishwanathan - Oh beta, don't worry. No matter what might happen, good or bad, we will always be there with you. And don't you worry; you will get a better job

Ishita then hugs her father. Madhavi also joins them in the hug. Mihika, who knows what had happened also comes out of her room.

Mihika - Hey include me too!

They all enjoyed the group hug. The hug brought out the love between this small but loving family of four staying in a middle-class locality in Mumbai. They shared a strong bond which could not be broken by anyone.

Vishwanathan - Who is helping you prepare your CV?

Ishita - Vandita. She has a little more experience than me in this field and knows how things roll in this industry.

Meanwhile, Raman's happiness knew no bounds! He was really happy that things had gone his way. He had just spoken to the CEO and he told Raman that their company had fired Ishita.

Raman - Ishita the Hottie, I hope you now you know what happens if you mess with Raman Bhalla!

Part 5

***********************AFTER ONE MONTH***********************

Ishita returned home that evening after another failed interview. In the past month, she had gone for 6 interviews where she had gotten rejected for various reasons. She had lost all her confidence and had lost all will power. She sighed and ringed the doorbell.

Madhavi - Arree Ishu beta! Interview kaisa tha?

Ishita was clearly upset and she didn't give any reply and headed for the washroom. Later, she came out and sat the dinner table where her family was waiting for her.

Ishita - Appa, I have lost all my will to work. I can't take it anymore!

Vishwanathan - Beta, don't lose hope! Keep trying till you can succeed! Anyways, I have good news for you. Mr Raman Bhalla has kept a walk-in interview tomorrow where he will be personally interviewing candidates for mid-level positions in the company. He was not satisfied with some employees and he fired them. Ishita, this your chance at getting a very good post!

Ishita - Okay Appa, I will go tomorrow as you say.

Vishwanathan - But beta, promise me that you won't give up trying if you don't make it

Ishita - Yes Appa, I promise

Ishita then went off to sleep. She had all the necessary things in place for the interview. The next morning, Ishita took a bath, got dressed and prayed. She then immediately left home for the interview, which was at Lower Parel, at the office itself. Ishita was not that nervous because she had gotten used to it going to all those interviews a month back. She soon reached the office. The interviews were going to be conducted in Raman's cabin. All the candidates were waiting outside anxiously. There were about 40 of them only, as it was being conducted at a short notice. Raman, who was in his cabin, took a peek at all the candidates. When he saw Ishita amongst them, his heart skipped a beat. He could only see her beautiful face amongst a sea of people.

Raman - Wow, Ms Ishita the Hottie! So you came for the walk-in. I am waiting to interview you!

Raman calls Sarika and tells her to give all the candidates their token numbers. He tells her to give Ishita the last number.

Sarika - But Sir, isn't she the same girl you asked me to find information on? Why do you want to interview her in the end?

Raman - Just like that, Sarika. Just go and give her the token number.

Sarika knew that something was odd about her boss today. She knew that he never showed interest in any woman except Shagun. She went to everyone and gave them their token numbers. Finally, she gave Ishita the token number 40

Sarika - You will be the last candidate for the interview

Ishita - Okay, thank you

Ishita waited for her turn patiently. One by one, all the candidates went in. Some came out happy whereas some came out dejected. Finally, it was Ishita's turn to go in.

Sarika - Next candidate, token number 40!

Ishita - Yes, right here!

Ishita entered the cabin and Sarika went back to her desk to complete the remaining work. Ishita went in and she saw Raman, who was looking at her lustfully. Ishita felt a bit uncomfortable with his stare and stood near the entrance.

Raman (thinking) - Ishita oh Ishita! Why do you do this to me? Why do you make me feel so restless and uneasy! Gosh, babe you are looking so sexy today! Your hot legs exposed in a knee-length skirt! Your curves are even more accentuated than before! Oh and your lips! I just want to pin you against a wall and kiss the life out of you! And your waist-length hair, tied up in a pony-tail, makes you look like an angel!

Ishita - Umm...Mr President, may I come in?

Raman - Oh Ms Ishita, please just take a seat! This is not school that you have to take permission from me!

Ishita - Okay

The interview began and Raman was highly impressed with all her answers.

Raman - Great interview! You know something; I am ready to hire you on the spot! I want to make you the manager of the Marketing Department.

Ishita - But Mr President, I don't know if I am ready for such a great responsibility!

Raman - Ishita, your President has shown faith in you! What is stopping you then?

Ishita - Nothing, Sir. I am ready to take up the responsibility. However, I have one thing to say.

Raman - Yes go on

Ishita - Sir, I know that you only got me kicked out of Richlife Finance!

Raman was shocked at her sudden outburst. He tried to control the situation.

Raman - Ishita, what non-sense is this?

Ishita - I know Sir that you have got me kicked out. I heard the CEO talk to my boss.

*FLASHBACK*

Ishita was returning from the washroom. She was passing by the CEO's cabin and saw her boss talk to the CEO.

Boss - But Sir, Ishita was our finest employee. How could you just throw her out of the company?!

CEO - I know she was a very fine employee. However, I had to because of Mr Raman Bhalla's instructions!

Boss - How can he ask you to throw out an employee of our company?

CEO - He was saying that she misbehaved with an employee outside office. I tried explaining but he didn't listen to me at all. Besides, he told me that if I didn't fire her, he would cut off his funding to our company! I had to do what he said. I have my job to also worry about!

Ishita heard this conversation and was seething with anger. She couldn't believe that Raman was responsible to get her kicked out from Richlife. Inspite of knowing everything beforehand, she chose not to tell her parents anything. When her father told her about the walk-in interview, she was a bit hesitant at first. But when her father showed faith in her, she decided that she would give it a shot. However, she hated Raman from the core of her heart for making her go through this.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Ishita - I knew all along that you did it, Mr President! And that was a very cheap way of getting back at someone who was right!

Raman then pinned her against the wall. He put his hands on the wall to trap Ishita.

Ishita - Let me go Mr President!

Raman (angrily) - Yes! I got you kicked out! You know, no one has ever dared to speak to me like you did that day! I wanted to get back to you for that insult! So I did what I did!

Ishita - So you must have even got me rejected at all my previous interviews then na?

Raman was shocked to hear what she said. He moved away from Ishita and sat on his chair.

Ishita - So you have no explanation right?

Raman - Why should I tell you anything? I don't owe you any explanation!

Ishita - Okay then, I will work for you, but only to see my Appa and Amma happy. They have a lot of hopes from this interview. Otherwise, I have no interest in working for you, Mr President

Raman - I will write your appointment letter right away then. Anyways, once Raman Bhalla says something he doesn't take it back! I hire you, Ms Ishita Iyer, to work as the manager of the Marketing Department in my company!

Raman types out her appointment letter and gives it to Ishita. She was about to leave when,

Raman - You will join from next week. And you will report to me, Raman Bhalla!

Ishita - Okay Mr President, I will report to you from next week at 9am

Ishita takes the letter and leaves. Raman, on the other hand, is angry that she dared to speak to him like that again.

Raman - Ishita, I have hired you now, no one can save you from me!

Ishita meets her father who was in the office. She hugs him and tells him that she got the job of the manager of the Marketing Department.

Vishwanathan - Wow! That is great news! And the post is also higher! So you will be working at my level, beta! Chalo, it is late anyways, Let us go home and celebrate you getting a very good job!

Ishita - Haan, Appa. Let's go.

Ishita was giving a fake smile all through. She didn't want her father to know that she was working for the person she hated the most. Both of them left the office to go home. Raman meanwhile had seen everything.

Raman (to himself) - Ishita, I will take all the happiness away from your life!

Ishita and Vishwanathan reached home. They gave Mihika and Madhavi the good news.

Madhavi - Wow! I had said na that Ishita would get this job!

Mihika - Congrats Akka! Chalo celebrate karte hain bahar ja kar!

Madhavi - Mihika, maine jo khana banaya hai uska kya?

Vishwanathan - Chhodo na Madhavi, Let's go out!

Madhavi - Theek hai, I'll just get ready

The family of four go out to a restaurant. They eat food enjoy and come home. Ishita, who is tired after the day's events, changes her clothes and goes to sleep.

Raman, on the other hand, is still awake thinking of their encounter.

Raman - Why do I think about her so much? I hate her, don't I? Then why am I not able to sleep properly every night? I see her in my dreams every night now. Oh Ishita, look what have you done to me!

Raman for the past month was not able to sleep properly. Now instead of his father, Ishita had started coming in his dreams. He finally, regained his senses and went to sleep.

Precap - Ishita's first day at work.

Part 6

Ishita woke up to a terrible Monday morning. A week had already passed since she had got the job. Today was the day she was supposed to report to work in Raman Bhalla's company. She heard her mother yell.

Madhavi - Ishu beta, get up! You have to go to work!

Ishita - Haa Amma, I am awake!

Ishita got up from her bed and went straight to washroom. She brushed, took a bath and prayed.

Ishita - Today is my first day at Mr President's company. I know he has been very evil in doing whatever he has done and can go to any lengths to have his way. I only took this job to make Amma and Appa happy. Please bless me with a good day and protect me from him

Meanwhile, Raman had also woken up and had finished bathing. He dressed up thinking about Ishita's joining.

Raman - Today is Ishita's first day of working at my company! I hope I have the strength to deal with a Hottie like her! She is feisty and attractive at the same time! Also, I am really confused about her! I do hate her but at the same time I can't stop thinking about her! Hey Bhagwan, please clear my mind!

Ishita got dressed for her first day. She had trouble deciding her clothes. Ultimately, she decided wear trousers and a blazer. She had really felt uncomfortable with the way Raman was looking at her when she was wearing the skirt. So she thought that it's better to stick to trousers for some time, even though she liked wearing skirts. She also decided to not go with her father.

Ishita - Amma, tell Appa I am leaving and I will see him in office!

Madhavi - Okay. Did you take your lunch?

Ishita - Yes, bye!

Raman got dressed. He wore his favourite cologne and his favourite Rolex watch and was ready to leave in his chauffeured car. He told the chauffeur to take him to his office.

Raman (to himself) - Welcome to Hell, Ishita Iyer!

Ishita left home for the Mahim railway station. She decided to travel by the local train to this office. She had to get down at Lower Parel, which was four stops away. She got on the train and reached her destination within 12 minutes. From the station she decided to walk up to the office. She finally reached the office and headed towards the reception area where the receptionist Simran was sitting.

Ishita - Hello, today is my date of joining. Here is my appointment letter.

Simran- Let me have a look at it

Simran read the appointment letter and told her to go to Raman's cabin since she was reporting to him. Ishita was heading towards Raman's cabin when she met Sarika

Sarika - Good morning, Ishita ma'am! I am Sarika, Mr Raman's secretary. We met the other day

Ishita - Oh hi. Just call me Ishita! I am probably as old as you!

Sarika and Ishita talked for a while and Sarika directed her to Raman's cabin. Ishita reached his cabin and knocked.

Raman - Come in!

Ishita opened the door and stood at the entrance. Raman was mesmerised to see her. She looked really beautiful in the blazer with her hair tied in a ponytail. She also wore a scarf around her neck which Raman thought suited her.

Raman (thinking) - Wow, Ishita! You look pretty today but I still wished you wore a skirt, my Hottie!

As Ishita started walking towards him, a song started playing in his mind.

Tune maari entriyaan re

Dil mein baji ghantiyaan re

Tang tang tang...'

Ishita walks towards him, takes her scarf off and opens her hair. She has an intense and seductive look on her face. She proceeds to sit on his lap.

Dil ki sun commentriyan re

Pyaar ki guarantiyan re

Tang tang tang...'

Ishita sits on his lap and gives him a tight hug.

Arey taada taadi karna

Na ab nahi sudharna

Phootne laga hai

Arey chaahaton ka jharna'

Raman is enjoying their hug. He breaks the hug and proceeds to kiss Ishita on her lips.

Dil ki na marammatein ho'n

Naa ho koi warrantiyan re

Tang tang tang...

Suddenly, Raman snaps out of his dream. He sees that Ishita is still standing at the entrance. She enters and proceeds to sit on one of the chairs. She hands Raman her appointment letter. She does all this without speaking a word.

Raman - So you reported on time, Ishita. Very impressive!

Ishita - Mr President, as I told you I am doing this job to make my parents happy. I don't want them to be unhappy or suffer in anyway

Raman - Very well, then Ishita. I will arrange for your ID card to be made. You will punch in and out with it whenever you report to work. Also, since you are the manager of the Marketing department now, you will have a cubicle to yourself. Currently, you have two employees working under you. You can ask the HR department to hire more employees for you if you wish. Also, you can apply for casual or privilege leave only after you work for six months in this company. Only sick leave is allowed. Also...

As Raman is speaking, Shagun enters his cabin. She greets Raman in a very cheerful manner and proceeds to give Raman a tight hug. Ishita watches these sudden events unfolding before her eyes and is shocked. Shagun breaks the hug and notices Ishita's presence in the cabin.

Shagun - Umm...excuse me. Who are you?

Ishita (thinking) - Wow her memory is so weak! Doesn't she remember what happened because of her that day at the party? But then I guess she was too drunk to remember anything

Raman - Shagun, she is the new manager of the Marketing Department, Ishita Iyer. Ishita, as you know she is an important part of our company, Shagun

Shagun (ignoring Ishita completely) - Listen Raman, I have some important work related to finance to settle with Parmeet. Do you know when is he reporting to work?

Raman - He should be coming anytime now. You can wait outside his cabin

Shagun - Okay, I'll do that. Thanks!

Shagun then leaves the cabin and proceeds to wait outside Parmeet's cabin.

Parmeet Khurana was Raman's childhood friend and also the Vice-President of his company. Parmeet handled a lot of work of the company, reducing the load of work on Raman. Raman trusted him a lot and considered his advice of prime importance in financial matters of the company.

Raman - Okay, Ishita so do you have any doubts with respect to the nature and type of work that you are supposed to do?

Ishita - No doubts, Mr President

Raman - Good. My secretary Sarika will guide you to your working area. Sarika!

Sarika - Yes sir!

Raman - Please guide Ishita to her working desk

Sarika - Surely!

Ishita leaves the cabin with Sarika. Raman notices Ishita leaving the cabin.

Raman - Oh Ishita! Only you are capable of making me dream in broad daylight and at night! You looked so attractive and hot in that dream! Seriously, I could die. But still, you cannot be excused, my Hottie!

Ishita had reached her working area and had just begun to settle when

Sarika - Ishita, Mr President has called you to his cabin right away!

Ishita - I'll be there!

Ishita enters Raman's cabin and stands in front of Raman

Raman - Ishita, I want to know what is your perception and understanding of Marketing. So, I want you to prepare a presentation of about 30 slides. Also, I want you to write a report of about 100 pages on the same. I want you to complete this work by Wednesday.

Ishita - But Mr President, it is humanly impossible to complete such a large amount of work in just 2 days!

Raman - Don't argue. Just do what is said. And it is an order, not a request!

Ishita - Okay Mr President, as you say. But when am I supposed to show the presentation to you?

Raman - Wednesday itself

Ishita - Okay

Ishita leaves his cabin tensed. She needed to think about how to prepare the slides, show him the presentation and write 100 page report on it! She knew that Raman was doing this just to trouble her. But still, she had been assigned the work and had to complete it on time. She hurriedly headed toward her desk and sat in front of the computer. She decided to start with the presentation since she had very little time to prepare.

Raman could easily her cubicle from his cabin. He had given her that working desk on purpose so that he could see her whenever he wanted.

Raman (thinking) - Your stay in Hell begins, Ms Ishita Iyer!

Sarika noticed his gaze was directed in Ishita's direction.

Sarika - Sir, is there a problem?

Raman - No, Sarika. Why do you ask?

Sarika - I have never seen you observing the employees this closely! It is bit unusual on your part!

Raman - Sarika, I am keeping a watch on the new employee, Ishita

Sarika knew that Raman was observing Ishita very keenly and not just keeping a watch on her. He was looking at her in a very unusual manner. However, she kept quiet and continued with her work.

Ishita, on the other hand, had thought about the content she wanted to present and had already completed 15 slides of her presentation by lunch time. She wanted to eat lunch with her father. She was going to go to his cubicle when

Sarika - Ishita, Sir has called you in his cabin!

Ishita (thinking) - Hey Bhagwan! He enjoys messing with my lunch break also (to Sarika) - Tell him I'll be there

Ishita proceeds towards his cabin and enters. She sees Raman and the Vice President Parmeet talking about something.

Raman - Oh Ishita! Come in. I want you to meet the Vice President of our company, Parmeet Khurana. And Parmeet, this is Ishita Iyer, the new manager of the Marketing Department

Both of them greeted each other. Parmeet was impressed with Ishita's personality and good looks. Raman continued talking to Parmeet for some more time.

Parmeet - Anyways Raman, I'll go back to my cabin

Parmeet left Raman's cabin mesmerised by Ishita.

Raman - So Ishita, how is your work going? Do you like working here?

Ishita - So this is why you called me? To ask this? Mr President, I lost 15 minutes of my lunch break because of you! My father must be waiting for me!

Raman (smirking) - You know Ishita, that is not the way you talk to the President, you silly girl!

Ishita was deeply embarrassed at the comment. She wanted to slap Raman hard across his face.

Ishita - Will you let me go after I tell give you my feedback?

Raman - Surely, Ishita

Ishita - Well, I like the atmosphere here. And your secretary Sarika has been very nice with me. I am not really enjoying the work, but I'll get used to it

Raman - So, what is your opinion about me?

Ishita - Well, Mr President, I really am not fond of you. I think that you only care about what you want and end up hurting others in the process. Also, you have a lot of pride. But, I also think that you are very generous and giving. I have heard about your charity work and how you value your employees. The party you threw for them is a proof of that. I feel that I got this job because of your generosity

Raman - Okay Ms Ishita, you can leave

Ishita - Thank you!

Ishita leaves the cabin and heads to have lunch with her father.

Raman - Wow Ishita! You never fail to impress me! Usually, it is your feisty nature. But today, I saw that you are brutally honest too! Such an awesome personality with equally awesome looks! You can easily put anyone at your mercy with these weapons of yours. Oh Ishita! You are making me crazy! I want to trouble you but at the same time you show a different side of you every time, making me even crazier about you, my Hottie!

Ishita sat with her father for lunch. Ishita told him how Raman had given her a load of work to do on the first day itself. Her father told her to be sincere and complete the work on time.

Vishwanathan - Sir never took an interest in the functioning of any of the departments earlier. For some unknown reason, he sent across an email on Friday last week to the manager of every department that he would be looking into every detail personally from Monday onwards. I wonder what caused this sudden change

Ishita knew Raman had purposely changed the working pattern of the employees so that he could directly be in touch with her for any work and trouble her according to his wishes.

Ishita (thinking) - What an elaborate way to trouble an innocent employee! No one could be as evil as him!

Soon, the lunch break got over and Ishita headed to her desk. When she reached there, she found a note lying on the desk.

Dear Ishita,

Please come to my cabin as soon as you finish your work. I have some important work with you.

Raman Bhalla

Ishita (thinking) - I wonder what he wants now? He keeps calling me to his cabin for some or the other stupid reason! His constant summoning is interrupting my work! He really annoys me!

Ishita got back to her desk and managed to complete the presentation. She was relieved that she managed to complete that at least. But her main worry was the 100 pages report. She was worried as to how she would finish it just one day. She then remembered that she had to go to Raman's cabin. She went there and stood at the entrance.

Raman - Come in

Ishita - Okay

Raman - I called you here to give you your ID card. Here, take it

Ishita took the ID card. It had the photo she had gotten clicked in the morning at the HR office.

Ishita - Anything else, Mr President?

Raman - Yes, I wanted to tell you that you will also have a conference call with a vendor on Friday. Since they stay in America, you will have to wait in the office till about 9.30 or 10 pm since it is morning there at that time

Ishita (thinking) - Oh God! This person is after my life like a carnivore! But then Appa said Be sincere' so I will have to do it (to Raman) Okay Mr President, I will wait in office till late that day. Any other important work?

Raman - Yes Ishita, actually I want to take Shagun out for dinner tonight. Could you suggest me a restaurant where I could take her?

Ishita - But shouldn't you be asking this to your secretary?

Raman - But I am asking you, so tell me

Ishita suggested a name and Raman agreed. He kept asking her some more things and she was waiting in his cabin for almost 45 minutes. Finally

Ishita - Mr President, please can I go and resume my work? I have wasted 45 minutes of my time because of you and I still have to write the 100 page report

Raman - Okay go

Ishita scurried out of his cabin frustrated. Raman had eaten so much of her time and she couldn't even do anything about it.

Raman - Ishita, I purposely wasted your time by asking useless things! Let's see how you complete that report now!

Ishita wrote some pages of the report and saw that the time was 7 pm. She decided that it was time to leave and that she would write rest of the report at home. She was about leave her desk when

Raman - Ishita, where are you going? Come here

Ishita was pissed. Her tolerance level had reached its peak. Just when she was about to leave he had to show up.

Ishita - Yes, Mr President. I was leaving to go home. I was going to write the rest of the report at home

Raman - Okay, could you please come to my cabin? It is urgent

Ishita was enraged. This was the 4^th time in a day he had called her to his cabin. She wondered what his urgent work' was

Both entered the cabin and Raman sat on the sofa in his cabin. He invited Ishita to sit beside him. Ishita was proceeding to sit beside him when she suddenly tripped and fell above him. Their faces were a mere inches apart.

Ishita - I am so sorry!

Raman - Don't be so sorry, my Hottie! It's okay!

Ishita is about to get up when Raman suddenly grabs her tightly and refuses to let her go

Ishita - Please let me go!

Raman - No I won't! Not until I give you this!

Raman then smashed his lips against Ishita's and kissed her with utmost passion. He was kissing her like he had never kissed anyone before and had been waiting for this moment for long. Ishita was also kissing him back with equal amount of passion. Raman kept on kissing her like the world was going to end and he would never get the chance again. Raman had wondered how her lips would taste and feel. He realised that they felt like velvet and they tasted as sweet as nectar! He continued kissing Ishita with renewed vigour. How much ever he tried to stop he could not! Kissing her was addictive! She had become like a drug for him! He wondered that kissing her only is so divine and what would happen to him if they went further. Raman then rubbed his tongue against hers and they both shared a full-blown French kiss!

Ishita - Ummm...Mr President?

Raman snapped out of his dream. He realized that his day-dreaming had increased ever since he had met Ishita. He saw her as usual standing at the entrance of his cabin. He told her to sit on the sofa and guided her about how she would have to work further. He also asked her some irrelevant questions totally out of context which annoyed Ishita. Finally, he gave her permission to leave. Ishita left his cabin and proceeded to leave the office. Ishita reached home soon. She had her dinner and proceeded to write her report.

Raman also reached home. Turns out, he had told Ishita about his dinner with Shagun just to waste her time. He had his dinner with Mummy ji and proceeded to sleep.

Raman - Wow! I must say my imagination has started working overtime, thanks to you Ishita! I never knew that you could make me feel like that! I felt that was the most amazing kiss even though it was imaginary! If my dream could make me feel like that, I can't imagine what will happen to me if we do that for real! But still, I won't stop troubling you till I feel that it's enough! Ishita, I want too trouble you but then I also want to kiss you!

Raman spent some more time thinking of Ishita and then went to sleep.
