Bang Bang showed growth of around 50% on its second Saturday. The Friday and Saturday collections of the second week are as follows.

Bang Bang

Friday - 3,15,00,000

Saturday - 4,75,00,000

TOTAL - 7,90,00,000

Haider showed growth of around 85% on its second Saturday. The Friday and Saturday collections of the second week are as follows.

Haider

Friday - 1,40,00,000

Saturday - 2,60,00,000

TOTAL - 4,00,00,000

On a side note... this website BOI is so biased. First of all they make predictions and statements about how certain films will do which they shouldn't be doing anyways. When a film they are against has collections that have dropped their headline mentions it however when that film shows growth it just has a basic headline.

A flop is when the film makes little or no profits... Haider has already recovered it's budget and become a profitable venture so Haider is definitely not a flop! Don't know about Bang Bang though because I don't know who to believe regarding their BO collections.

haider is a great movie . Regarding box office now its general trend to show movie budget as low so that it can be presentable as successful movie.

Kapoor, along with Bhardwaj and UTV Motion Pictures, each have a 33.3% share in the film. The budget for the film is INR37 crore (US$6.0 million), with INR22 crore (US$3.6 million) going into the production of the film and INR15 crore (US$2.4 million) for promotion

Just like above point where director and actor share cost of movie so also profit. This means production house will not do it for charity. Its obivious actor and director will not invest in a movie from their own pocket , if they do that then they themselves will produce the movie without any role of production house.

Certainly when they are stakeholder then certainly their fees will be bare minimum which reflect in the low budget of movie. instead fees they might share in film. which we can see in low 22 crore production cost.

😆 Question is, who's gonna take the money earned from satellite rights. From the profit UTV is only gonna make 4.3 crore (50cr - 37cr = 13... 13cr/3 = 4.33cr).

Btw, how much did it make overseas?

most probably i can guess the production house will keep the satellite right , production right etc. as those are long term contracts etc. after all the real investors is the production house , so they might did some agreement contract etc. Rest these 3 will share profit.

Yes if it make 50 crore then its indeed a good venture. Atleast far better then all those commercial movies like 100 to 150 crore budget.
Dont know about overseas may be it is 5 to 10 crore range.

One thing i am not able to understand when it made 50 crore net business then multiplexes keep a certain ratio after all infrastructure is theirs. Guess the ratio is 50 : 50 then actual earning for producer will be say 25 crore , so how they decide a movie hit or flop by considering total net collection ?

These hidden charges are always kept hidden to get a hit tag. A PH making 4-6 cr. from 37cr. investment. And they want us to believe it was a hit movie! 😳
