Hey all! Here is the second NL of the forum. This includes stuff only from Monday-Friday. This one may not be that great, as it's been a long week and we've all been really busy. So I apologize for that, but do leave your thoughts. Guys, do comment how opinions about the articles. Which ones were your favourites? Which one did you agree/disagree with? Who would you have chosen? Just your thoughts. It's always great to hear feedback and criticism. But do remember, no bashing please, not that I need to tell you because I think we have the BEST and MOST CALM forum on IF. *knocks on wood* Please do excuse the spelling/grammar. Yaariyan: Boundaries and Definition of love. Love has no boundaries, Love is Blind, Love is Friendship... But exactly what is love in their life? Will they be able to know the exact meaning of love 6^th October, 2014 (Monday)Here everyone is in Manik's home except Dhruv. So, Mukti bet on that if Dhruv came without informing they will win otherwise they will not win. Manik was worried how to make Nandini out of his house. He went to his room by making an excuse to bring his phone back where he hand trouser to Nandini and told her to wait for the signal to come out. He went out and waited suddenly Dhruv came and they started partying. Harshad plans against fab5 that he will make sure they will be crushed before Musicana. Alya and Dhruv left from there but Mukti and Cabir slept there. Manik went to his room and found her sleeping under his bed. He covers her with blanket and slept. Nandini woke up in midnight and went from there leaving a pink note there. Manik woke up and find the pink note there. He threw it but picks it again he started dreaming about her. He snaps out of it and decide to stay away from her. He was going for his classes suddenly Nandini came and they started arguing again to stop her saying Manik try to put his finger on her lips but got bitten by her accidently. Nandini try to leave but the paper got scattered. Maanik read the paper and ask about Rishabh's treatment in which Nandini replied that his psychiatrist told he can't be able to help them. Nandini told her wish to work together for Dhruv and Rishabh. 7^th October, 2014 (Tuesday)Nandini asked Maanik to work together again in curing Dhruv and Rishabh but dropped that idea. Dhruv and other members were sitting in canteen where Mukti and Cabir were having hangover. Rose came and started irritating in which Mukti told Cabir to take her away. Cabir made her go. They started their talks on love. Mukti was telling Cabir that she hadn't love anyone in whom Dhruv asked then what love is. Scene shift to Nandini and Navya where Navya told she is in love with Harshad. Then Harshad and Shahid came. Nandini told them that they are talking about love. Nandini asked about his opinion in which he replied that love is not meant for him. Scene shift to fab5 and Alya told love is forgiveness and accepting no matter what their flaws are. Maanik contradicts and say love is all about trust and Dhruv think about his last encounter with Nandini. Mukti told love is friendship and again Dhruv remembers Nandini's words. Cabir told for him love is freedom and Mukti asked Dhruv about his opinion on love. Dhruv has no answer but Alya replied about the Dhruv's crush on chemistry teacher and Maanik told if Dhruv fell in love it will be a passionate one and he will make it as the one of the greatest love story. Harshad asked Nandini what love is in which she replied that love is trust. For Shahid love is fear as when he was in love he was nearly in committing suicide. Raghav told them to practice as Musicana is round the corner. Maanik and Dhruv are talking about love where Dhruv is in doubt if it is good for him to fall in love or not. But Maanik make him understand that it is not like this. He was acting when Navya found them proposing and Dhruv saying yes and misunderstood them as gay. Here Raghav and Cabir are having conversation that Musicana is a week ahead so that they should practice more and rose arrives. Nandini and Maanik had a talk and decided to work together on Dhruv and Rishabh's case. 8^th October, 2014 (Wednesday)Nandini and Manik were discussing about the meeting regarding the Rishabh and Dhruv case. Nandini wants it to be 7:00AM and Maanik wants to be 7:00 PM. At the end no conclusion and Nandini challenges him that he will be in college at 7:00 AM Tomorrow. Here Alya and Mukti was in washroom where Alya find out about Mukti taking the pills. In mean time Navya came and ask about her and Manik's relation. Nandini again came at the same place thinking of agreeing. Manik too came. Where both get in to brawl and end up getting close to each other and again there is no decision came out where to come. Alya finds Dhruv searching on love in his ipad. Where Alya ask what Dhruv is searching in which Mukti answer what he can search and ask them to go to the practice room for jamming. Here Cabir and rose were in practice room. After sometime Maanik also arrives and Maanik told him to tell the truth but Mukti arrived there. Scene shifts where NH3 were having a party and Navya and Nandini were sitting and Navya thinking about what she saw yesterday. Nandini cheers her but no use. Fab 5 arrived there and Harshad and Maanik had their heated conversation. They sat in the table where Nandini try to grab the attention of Dhruv while Maanik and Alya both observing Nandini and Dhruv. 9^th October, 2014 (Thursday)Dhruv left the canteen as he forgot his stuff. Maanik follows him and ask about his tension. Navya and Nandini followed them and Navya told about Dhruv and Maanik together in which Nandini clarifies about her doubts and thinking and remembers her past experiences. Alya asked Mukti about her hangover and indirectly ask about her taking something with her drink in which she refused that she is not taking anything. Harshad was also hearing their talks and sets up a plan. They were jamming where he decides to spy on fab5. Nandini refuses but obliged as other wants the same. Here fab5 are jamming and Cabir has to go but Mukti offended in which Maanik saves him and he left. Here, NH3 decides about who will follow whom. Shahid left for the Dhruv where Alya asked about the Dhruv's love interest and Alya figure out that she is Nandini. Nandini is keeping the watch on Maanik. Maanik sends the message and Nandini's phone beeped and she got caught.

10^th October, 2014 (Friday)Episode starts with the Maanik following Nandini. Maanik asks her the reason of her being presence. In which she doesn't reply and they indulge in a mud fight. During the mud fight Nandini told the reason that Harshad wants to spy fab5 and Harshad is following Cabir. Navya is following Mukti and they enter the washroom where Mukti told Navya that Harshad is just using her as a bait and to wake up from her dream. Cabir reached his home and have little conversation with his twin brother Ranbir. Cabir went to cafe. Maanik is trying to find Cabir. Suddenly, his phone rings. Nandini ask if he needs her help in which Maanik curtly refused. Maanik reached at the cafe where he saw Harshad and starts fighting. In between fight Maanik saw Cabir kissing Raghav and Cabir went to Maanik and stops them. Maanik and Cabir had a talk and Cabir confronted that he is gay.

Acceptance.
Take a risk. Take a chance. Make a change. And breakaway.
This week proved just how good the writing of the show is. Mostly the overall tone of this week was pretty light, with jokes and laughter and hilarious misunderstandings all around. The feeling of "love" in the air, the young questions about what love is, experiencing new emotions; S.P.A.C.E seemed like a typical college this week. But what made this week special and my absolute favorite was the way our characters were engaged in the whole scheme of things.
Usually taking the humorous way in any show stops the story from progressing. This was not the case here. The story progressed smoothly with our main characters developing new feelings and growing up while doing so. It just didn't take the usual dramatic way of showing that. But the way the week ended, yeah...couldn't have gone to a more impactful note than that.
While Dhruv takes the help of Google to figure out his feelings for Nandini, Navya gets 100% sure that she's in forever wala love with Harshad. Alya didn't act desperate around Manik and finally decided to take a break from him. We finally saw Cabir with Raghav in an empty room and GOD! The angst still has me within its grip. As for our two fated ones? I finally got what I wanted to see, Nandini acknowledging the effect Manik has on her during all their intimate moments. In that moment, she grew from a naive girl to a woman who got thrilled at being treated so preciously by a man. Aaah...such progress, it makes me sing. Not only that, she has gone from calling Manik the root cause of all her troubles to making him someone whom she can depend upon in times of trouble. Their growth has been so wonderful. Show, you know how to make the OTP unique and loveable in all aspects.
But not all characters had it great. Harshad seems to be losing ground and his obsession with Fab5 is turning blinder and blinder. I can no longer verify his intentions, he doesn't seem to be caring for repercussions at all. While before he used to care for Mukti, enough to not harm her, now he no longer does so. Despite being suspicious of her vulnerable state, he's actively targeting her alongside Cabir to bring down Fab5.
Though the best part of the entire week had to be the revelation of Cabir's secret. Not only the writers made Cabir and Raghav behave like a normal couple, with planning dates and kissing each other, they gave such depth to the usually carefree Cabir. The way Cabir's confession scene was penned down, with him talking about his fear of being the 'abnormal' one in the society and how he was so afraid to even confess this to himself - brilliant. I am in awe of the writing skills of the show. If there's one thing I could pick which would showcase why KY2 is the best darn thing on TV right now, it's this sensitivity with which they handled such a big issue about which no one is willing to talk. Homosexuality. And they did it while doing justice the core plot of the show intact, friendship. Cabir wouldn't have said a word had not Manik lend him his strength and support, to accept whatever he is because his friends will always accept and love him no matter what.
Rating: 4.5/5 (it could've been higher but the random addition of Cabir's twin brother, Ranbir, has me confused and puzzled. WHY IS HE IN THE PICTURE AT THIS STAGE OF THE SHOW?!)

What is love? This week's scene of the week has to be the part where the NH3 and Fab 5 members expresses their thoughts about love. So the scene started when Mukti said if someone is hot doesn't mean that you have to love her. Then out of the blue Dhruv asks what is love? Very sportingly everyone answers to his question. According to Alya love is forgiveness, whereas for Manik it is trust. Mukti couldn't answer for obvious reasons but Cabir answers it, saying that love is freedom and not being scared of confessing it to everyone. In some other room Navya and Nandini talks about love when Shahid and Harshad walks in. Nandini asks Harshad about his opinion based on love he simply says that love is not meant for him where as Shahid replies that he's scared of it because of his past relation. Harshad asks Nandini about her opinion and her answer was same as Manik's. Trust is the foundation on which a relationship could be based on.

In this scene not only we got to know everyone's opinion but we also got to know that Manik and Nandini's thought match perfectly.

"Garbage Soongne wali..." Ah! Another roller coaster of a week. We got a showdown, a huge secret revealed, a plot twist and also a lot of Manan moments, well, enough for us to survive two days without them, eh? *winks* This week, I was caught up with two scenes, and I could not decide which one could fit the "funniest scene of the week" bill. I thought a lot and calculated and concluded that the scene mentioned below is funny. Bas. This particular scene has Mukti and Cabir suffering from a severe hangover, (thanks to the limitless drinking they had at Manik's place) they're sitting in a canteen and drinking lemon juice when Rose suggests Mukti to smell the garbage, she actually asks her to put her head in the bin and take a long breathe(and die of the smell) as a cure for hangover. (Well that's a first, smell garbage and cure hangover. I would rather live with the hangover all my life. ) And Mukti glares at Cabir, which prompts him to ask Rose to search the stinkiest garbage bin, by personally smelling each one of them. And *drum rolls*, she agrees. I thought she only meant to suggest, but she agreed to it herself. What is this woman? Garbage soongne wali as rightly told by Mukti. Written by: Bushra(Sanely_Insane)

The Truth Is Out The big revelation by Cabir! This dialogue is from the scene where Cabir confessing Manik that he is a gay!

Manik was shocked when he saw Cabir and Raghav kissing, and he was furious when Cabir was cooking up stories about his GF, Rose, so Cabir had to reveal who was he! What's his secret! from Cabir's words it's obvious that he is feeling very guilty and helpless being a gay, and we could see how great friend is Manik, as he was feeling bad for him and he was supporting his friend .Hats off to their friendship. The inner turmoil of portraying a personality you are not. Personally being confused between Nandini and Cabir for the Outstanding Character of the Week (OCW)', I couldn't help myself but chose Cabir for this week's OCW. It takes a lot of confidence and courage to accept who you are as a person, especially when you are "different" from the normal. But what is exactly the definition of normal? Everyone is abnormal in their ways, we just never much attention to these so called flaws. Cabir's turmoil and inner struggle was so aesthetically highlighted and his struggle of being a closet homosexual' were accurately depicted with no fake sugar coating, just realism at its finest! It's saddening to see Cabir facade his true self in order to be accepted by the friends he lives his life by. The phenomenon is that if you are different, you are accepted. Though' it's high time that this is challenged, and hence Cabir is my choice for the Outstanding Character of the Week' Written By: Pari (gujjupari)

Navya witnesses the proposal What happens when Navya Naveli a small-town girl who had landed up in the big bad world of S.P.A.C.E to fulfill her dreams witnessed this week a different kind of proposal between two guys (Manik and Dhruv). Witnessing their epic bromance sent Navya's mind into a crazy direction which ensured enough hilarious moments from her side. Starting from her wide eyed expressions on seeing ManRuv together and her confusion about how to tell Nandini and her epic dialogue that Nandini's heart will break when she will come to know that her sautan' is a guy. Throughout the week she kept us all entertained and because of this I think she deserves the title of funniest character of this week. Written by: Uditi (Desigirl_21).

Harshad gets the honour of becoming "Worst character" for the week. Harshad is clearly using his fellow NH3 members against Fav-5. He's sending them to spy on Fav-5, know their weak point. He is using unaware people for his own selfishness. Navya seems to be his finest target. That crazy girl is never going to judge her Harshad Ji. Personal rivalry needs to be handled on personal level - the way he is involving Navya, Shahid and Nandini in it is getting ridiculous. He isn't taking part in Musicana to win it for NH3, he's doing it to defeat Fav-5 and break them ultimately. His negative strategies are going to victimise Nandini, Shahid and Navya. The best dressed for Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan's second newsletter is, officially, Alya! Three cheers for her! Two weeks in a row; not bad, huh? Well, here's why she's been chosen. This week, Alya dazzled us with her spectacular outfit throughout. With her sleeveless dress with the colors of blue and white, fit with an ivory blazer, Alya looked stunning as she tied her hair in an elegant ponytail. The pearl earrings and a similar bracelet made her stand out. Oh, and how can we forget her glossy black handbag which just added some more beauty to it all? Sleepy Baby Parth

He looks...ADORABLE! Oh my god. Parth looks super cute here! I just can't help but squeal. I think I am totally heads over heels in love with Parth. He is HOT on-screen, and ADORABLE off-screen. Is they any look he can't pull off??? Sleepy Baby Nandu

Magnificently Hot Mud Fight

Editor: Nikki (-Spirited-) I can't even express how hard it was to choose a Sig of the Week. I had to narrow it down to five Sigs. It was so hard, but I finally decided upon this one. There were actually three people I wanted to give it to, but I finally settled for this one. I chose this MaNan siggy by Nikki, because it has not words and note much texture, but it is still perfect. It focuses on the best parts of the scene, and Nandu's expressions. The scene cap that has been chosen for this particular scene really does show that Manik has Nandu. This OS was super sweet, and sad. I literally wouldn't stop reading till the end. It had the sweetness of Nandu and Manik, and had friendship that was unbreakable.
