I just started watching this show and I have to say I absolutely love it! I would have loved to binge watch it more but it only has 10 episodes so far.😆

Like every show, Itti Si Khushi also has pros and cons.

Pros

Smriti Kalra is amazing! When she cries, I get those feels too. And she's cute along side being a great actor so watching her is always a treat.
The realistic issue that came up - the time when Sandeep suggested to take Neha off of life support. It's a horrible thing to think but after so many years of being in a coma, this topic is bound to come up. I think they tackled it well.
Shagun, I thought she was straight up going to be evil. But I am glad she's not. Yes, they have issues but doesn't every joint family have some issues here and there? The point is that she is not a sadistic bhabhi out to ruin people's lives.
Aman's Dadi - okay okay, you guys can hate on me for this but I feel that she keeps it interesting. She makes me sad every time she hurts Neha and I want to punch her in the face too. BUT she creates enough (not too much, nor too less) drama to keep it interesting.
Anuj Sachdeva is hot.😆

Cons

At times it seems as if Neha is 8 and not 14. I think better direction and research needs to come into play here by the crew. The way Neha acts sometimes is not how a 14 year old would act.
The fact that no one stands up for Neha when Aman's Dadi is SO rude. Ignoring slight jabs here and there is one thing but Dadi is straight up disrespectful and has no consideration for anyone but herself.
Aman's expressions have been slightly blank. I would love to see him react a bit more strongly to situations with more facial expressions.

As you can see the pros out weight the cons by a mile. I have high expectations of this show. I would love to see how Neha deals with growing up and finally coming to behaving like a 26 year old and what hurdles she'll face. I also have this fear that Akku will become evil (due to past shows), it doesn't seem like it but still.

I think this show will do great, and looking forward to upcoming episodes.

But I feel like Dadi is going to soon head over to the con section. Assuming Aman-Neha do get together, shes is going to be the most annoying person. Creating way too much drama and I sense some hard core planning and scheming coming from her too.

Regarding Neha looking like 8, well every kid is different. The story is as such that Neha is an innocent, hyperactive, happy-go-lucky kinda kid. Yes. she is at the peek of her teenage years, but not every teenager is you know serious that way. If we can have happy-go-lucky female leads who are in their 20s, why can't Neha be that way when she is 14? And also, IMO she no way behaves like an 8 year old. An 8 year old would not hurt so much upon losing out a guy she loves. Does an 8 year old even understand what it is to love a man? Does an 8 year old have so much maturity to understand that it would hurt her family's sentiments so she should stay quiet & not let anyone know about her feelings? I don't think so at all.

As much as I hate it when the family does not stand up for Neha & I would like them to stand up, I think its apt for the context of this show. They have all grown up & their daughter is going to get married in that household, so they think that its 'manners' if they keep quiet BUT Neha is quite the opposite. That's the contrast they are trying to show. That honesty, simplicity is something we should not lose when we grow up. It is something Neha has not lost, while the rest of them have. There is nothing wrong in being frank. It ultimately wins people over, like how Neha did in the jagrata.

Regarding Aman, I am not sure whether its the actor, or the character. Aman's character is still quite ambiguous because he doesn't talk much or share his feelings enough. So I am not going to judge this yet. Yeah, Anuj is hot. No doubt about that

Smriti is definitely amazing. I have said it time & time again. Not only does she breathe life into Neha, she breathes life into the whole show. It would not be enjoyable if Smriti wasn't in this show. I cannot picture anyone else playing this role, & that too, to perfection.

Hitler Dadi..gosh I hate her. But yes, she does provide for some conflict in the show which keeps it going. I am looking forward to that one day when Neha would shut her up forever. MUHAHAHA😈

Regarding Akku, I will feel bad for her if Aman decides to continue with the alliance. This show has been unpredictable so you never know Aman might break the alliance soon, or maybe not? Anyways it is bound to break one day. Its only a matter of time. I doubt Akku will turn evil, though. Because the fact that she is willing to let Aman go, shows that she probably doesn't love Aman. Remember Aman's bro mentioned that he & Akansha don't even talk, they are not even friends. So she doesn't even know Aman to love him. If anything its probably just an attraction (he's good looking). Also, it shows that Akku loves Neha & values her happiness. So she might be disappointed, sad, & betrayed by Aman, but I don't see the villainous streak in her. If anything, I see it in Shagun still, despite the way she cared for Neha.

BTW, who is that in your avi box? Isn't it that Shyam from IPK & Sanjeeda from EHT?

I agree in terms of Neha's simplicity. I like how at 26 she till hasn't been corrupted by the outside world. Which, in the future her vs. Dadi will be interesting to watch. Though Dadi seems to be a lot more corrupted then a normal person would be. -.-

And yeah Smriti's doing a great job. I don't know why, but everytime Neha cries, I get them feels too. 😆 IMO, I think it makes me more sad to see Dadi take jabs at Neha compared to her crying about Aman. Though that might just be because I know Neha and Aman are getting together. 😛 On that note, I really like your Neha-Aman siggy.

I do see your points regarding the 8 vs. 14 year old thing, it's certainly debatable. But regardless of that, I love watching Neha and I am looking forward to seeing how the CVs slowly bring her to age.

I think it was just a little bit of paranoia on my part in terms of Akku. Some shows I watch have random and not very pleasant twists, but I am glad it won't happen with Akku here.

I also see some venom in Shagun, which could make her a potential villain in the future but for now I am happy w/ her character. Not all joint families are perfectly harmonious, and we see that here too. As long as she doesn't completely change over and start scheming against Neha alongside Dadi, I'm okay with her. And we don't need another antagonist yet, I think the show has the perfect balance right now.

Yes, its Sanjeeda and Abhas. They were in a show together, it was called Daastan. It had potential but it didn't last very long unfortunately.

I am really hoping Aman's role will pick up because right now he's just kind of there. He is important obviously but I would like to see him more involved moving ahead. And hopefully a few more facial expressions too.

As Rajan Shahi had said in the interview tht Neha will be a sweet & soothing cool breeze for Aman's character to get a Different life for himself!

As his character has been shown being a Mamma's instruction follower son! I'm sure it'll gradually turn his personality wen Neha gives him a sway!

But Neha I never felt acted like a kid. She has the perfect innocence is what I felt.

Hitler Dadi is really the worst OMG I hate it the way she behaves with Neha. She being a grown up should know Neha is still in her early teenage but No she is aarghhh irritating.

Akku is really sweet.

Shagun man I like her. I thought she will be the vamp but no she is so nice to Neha and I like that fact.

I would rather Shagun stayed the way she is, and yes Smriti is doing great. Her acting is a high point in the show.

Yeah I see him being a mumma's boy but I want the CVs to dip into his thoughts or how he's feeling.
