The next day.
Kria was waiting for rey. Taani was smiling looking at her.
"What!"
Kria asked irritated ".
"Nothing."
"Bol na."
"Am glad , you are giving him a chance to rectify his mistake."
Kria sighed and nods.
"Taani whatever he did was not extremely pathetic or so. As a Mujhe toh bas yeh jaan na hain ki , what made him behave like that! Ass hole he was."
Taani laughed. The bell rang , it was rey.
"Hey kria!"
Kria smiled.
"Ouch! Bas kria mil gayi toh apni bff ko bhul jaa."
"Arre taani! Chup nautanki."
"Waise kaha le jaa raha hain meri behen ko? Raat se pehle wapas aajaani chahiye samjha?"
"Kria bring some water bottles to carry."
Kria nods and went. Rey looked at Taani and spoke.
"Lonavla le jaa raha hun , chalegi?"
"Lonavla? Seriously! Aisi kya planning ki hain?"
"See , usski favorite destination , dekhegi mood theek rahega , mood theek toh baat sunegi . Simple!"
Taani hits his head.
"Idiot!"
Kria came out. Rey smiled at her and spoke.
"Come on!"
"Bye kria , enjoy your date!"
"It's not a date!" , She replied sternly.
Kria sat behind Rey on the bike. He started the bike , and zoomed off.
"Where are we going Rey?"
"Lonavla!"
"What! Itna door? Why?"
"Kria , mujhe waha jaana tha and bachpan mein toh tumhe voh jagha bahot pasand thi. Maine iss baat par tumhara mazak banaya tha na. Toh mein iss chance ki starting waha se hi karna chahta hun. And don't worry tumhari mom se permission le li!"
Kria hits him playfully. She soon felt bored and rested her head on his back.
He smiled.
Kria closed her eyes and remembered how he had made fun of her liking towards Lonavla especially during monsoon.
"Rey! Main kuch puchun?" , Kria asked.
"Haan!"
"Why did you hate me?"
"I didn't hate you kria , i disliked you. Cause i was an idiot! My childish brain misinterpreted that , you are annoying. Actually I was jealous of you . You know na mom , she loves you like her own daughter , some times even more than me! That annoyed me. So i used to insult you , and when taani told me you liked me , i don't know why it just added fuel to the fire!"
"You were jealous of me?" , Kria asked in shock.
"Kind of." , He replied shrugging.
He had never shared this with anyone , not even taani. But today he had to tell the truth to kria.
After 2 hours , they reached Lonavla.
"God! I Am tired!" Rey spoke. Kria laughed.
They were at the tiger valley , Kria ran to the fence and looked ahead. The Mist that had filled the atmosphere was slowly disappearing. It was a breath taking view to see the mountains slowly peeping out through the disappearing mist.
Kria closed her eyes , letting the cool breeze hit her face.
"Here you go."
He handed her a bhutta. She opened her eye hearing Rey and looked at him.
"How do you know I like it?"
"I did notice things about you." , He stated.
Kria couldn't help but smile and ate it. She then spoke.
"Rey , even if I had liked you , what made you angry over that?"
"I disliked you , so when I got to know this , I felt you know superior and then my ego grew and that is why I became ruder to you. I wasn't exactly angry."
"Your such a jerk!"
She said annoyed. She looked away in anger or maybe hurt at the thought that her feelings were something that made him feel superior.
Rey sighed and turned her , tilting her head and spoke.
"Kria , I was a kid whose mom paid more attention to his bff's sister rather than him , of course i would get offended! I am sorry. Tum chahti ho na toh mein sabke saamne tumhe sorry bolunga. Chaho toh meri insult bhi kar dena. Koi problem nahi bas please mujhe maaf kar do. I swear i'll do anything to get your forgiveness."
Kria looked away , he couldn't understand.
"Kria , it's true I disrespected your feelings , but I was a kid, even I would get effected by small things , I couldn't possibly differentiate wrong from right. Kria..your feelings matter to me okay? They don't make me feel superior now. Instead they just make me realize how pathetic I was. I am sorry , I was just a stupid Kid!"
Kria stared at him. She sighed and looked at him.
"Maine bachpan mein hi rona tha na , agar pata hota tujh sadu mein dil hain!"
"Mein sadu nahi."
"Accha?"
"Haan thoda sa hun lekin phir bhi..."
Kria burst out laughing , and rey could do nothing but smile .
"You'll do anything na?"
"Haan! Except falling from some valley , taking a gun shot for you and all that dramatic stuff! Bolne mein aasaan hain asal mein phat jaati hain."
Kria laughed again
"Your mad! Forgiveness chahiye na toh abhi sabke saamne dance karo!"
"Itna easy! Sure!"
"Chikni chameli par!"
Rey looked at kria horrified. Kria clicked his picture.
"Priceless pic!"
She giggled. Rey looked at her still having the same expression.
"Arre don't worry I am kidding! Tumne mujhe sach bataya that's more than enough for you to get your forgiveness! And I know tum sahi mein guilty ho and you realized your mistake. It's fine. And waise bhi main toh badi khush hun! Reyaansh Sadu Singhaania mujhse jealous tha! Wah , wah!"
"Kriaa.." , Rey whined.
Kria laughed. Rey was now lost in her.
"Tum haste huye bahot acchi lagti ho."
Kria stopped laughing hearing him. She looked at him. Rey pinned her hair back , they both were lost. Their eye lock was broken by the sound of thunder. Kria shuddered.
"Rey!"
She squealed in joy.
"Baarish!"
Rey smiled , she was enjoying the rains like a kid. Reg just stood there staring at her , mesmerized by the angel , dancing in front of him. He suddenly noticed few guys looking at kria , he went to kria and held her waist possessively. She looked at him , her eyes wide in confusion, he motioned her to look aside , she saw from the corner of her eyes and then hugged Rey tight.
"Thanks! At least now I know why you hated me and that you did understand what I went through. Aajse humari friendship ki start."
"Haan! And iss baar i won't mess up Kria , I promise you.
Rey hugged her back slowly , and sighed.
The two stood under the rain , in each other's embrace.
Both aware about the feelings that were growing inside them.
