Kalpi was pacing nervously in her vanity van. Today they were to shoot first promo of their show and she was very nervous already. Will she be able to pull on her acting mask while shooting for close or intimate scenes? After ten minutes she was called for shoot; she was dressed in a formal, ladies business suit and Raghav too was formally dressed as per his role. The shoot started and both started enactment of their respective parts. It was a short but intense scene. They both looked into each other's eyes, with a bit of anger and a bit of opposition for each other in their eyes. Then she turned to go away from him, but he caught hold of her wrist, pulling her towards him. She bumped into his hard chest and he took her in his arm with his one arm encircling her waist completely and his other hand free; her one hand on his shoulder. The look in his eyes intense, possessive, conveying to her he'll win her; and he'll win from her. For others it was supposed to be a fictional scenario and only another scene of one more daily entertainment soap's promo. But for Raghav and Kalpi time had stopped, they both were not acting that moment. The intensity in Raghav's eyes to not let her go was real and her reaction on his touch too was real, as was her anger. Soon the director said CUT and they had to part ways, but not before after turning their backs to each other, they'd turned their faces once for each other.

They shot some more promos, this time individual shots of Raghav and Kalpi, meant for their introduction. Kalpi and Raghav were also informed that the channel and production house had kept a press conference late evening. Both Raghav and Kalpana were to be formally presented before the media and viewers. Everyone had an idea about Raghav Singhania being the hero; but media was abuzz with curiousity as to who was the lucky girl who bagged role opposite him.

In the evening Kalpi was waiting impatiently for the press conference to start and get it done with. She was nervous as it was the first time that any of her show was going on-air at such a grand scale; and thus she knew the press conference also was to be on an equally large scale and important. Nervous yes she was but she was confident enough on her capabilities. The only thing which was worrying her was what will Raghav do today, to make her uncomfortable and how would she herself react to it. Raghav too approached there after five minutes and he smirked on seeing her. Kalpi was wearing a two piece dark-maroon coloured-sleeveless tunic, her midriff slightly visible; and Raghav was wearing a yellow coloured shirt, brown coloured pants and maroon coloured blazer. Irritated at him she said "Isn't that a bit too colourful for a black and white person like you?" He shrugged telling her "But we are the right match for each other" indicating the common maroon colour in their respective dresses.

She just shook her head, knowing full well it is so difficult to win from Raghav, and right now she was not in a mood to fight with him, just before the press conference. Soon the press conference started and the reporters asked some general questions from both Raghav and Kalpi, as to their respective careers, how will Raghav balance his big business empire and this show together, some questions about show and their characters. Kalpi was asked a question regarding the opportunity to work with Raghav "In your first show as a female lead, you are working with Raghav Singhania, a big name in film industry. How do you feel about it?" Obvious comparison between her and Raghav in terms of both experience and popularity irked Kalpana, but her face beamed with a smile to die for. Raghav had to stiffle a laugh at this, as he knew how much she must have hated this question in her heart. Kalpi replied to this and said "I take this golden break as a learning experience and so yes I am very happy to be part of this esteemed project. I am looking forward to work with Raghav".

One of them asked a question from Raghav about his experience of working on TV and since he has acted with established top actresses, what does he think about Kalpana Jadhav. "I have worked with Ms.Kalpana before in my theatre days and I know she is very talented. She shall soon make a place in audiences' hearts and she has a bright future ahead". Then another question came about their chemistry "What do you have to say about your chemistry Raghav Sir? Do you think viewers would like your chemistry?"

Raghav gave a meaningful smile and said "Well, I can assure you that our chemistry will set the screens on fire; in fact I can give you a live answer to that question right now". Saying so he stood up, extended his hand in front of Kalpana, who first looked at his hand and then at him, feeling her heart beating rapidly, apprehending the worst on such a public platform. "Bappa please save me today" she prayed as she read desire and challenge in Raghav's eyes. But she had no other choice; unwillingly she gave her hand in his and he made her stand.

"Are you all ready to witness Raghav and Kalpana's performance for the first time ever live?" he asked in a loud voice from the reporters, and got a loud "yes" in response.

"Can we have the music please?" He called one of background helpers and requested for one particular song to be played. By the time music was played, he had made some distance from Kalpana, standing afar from her. Soon the song started and he started lip-syncing and performing to it.

"BTW, if it is difficult to visualize, then please take help of Shahrukh's expressions and Ashish's face" 😆😛😳

He let her go afar from him as his left hand kept holding her right hand, his face downcast and her face turned left side, her eyes also downcast. He then pulled her towards himself with a force which made her bang against his chest. She took support of his shoulders as he encircled her thin waist with his one hand and with his other he caressed her entire face and features, sometimes with his palms and sometimes with the back of his palms. Alongside he kissed her lips with his eyes as he looked at then intensely. (Please recollect Holi episode scene, where Raghav/Ashish's gaze was passionately caressing and fixed at her lips and face).

As the music started, he left her and both of them clapped their hands slowly in a dancing manner along with the beats, and moved in circles, their eyes fixed on each other.

He took hold of her hand once again and brought her closer. With his one hand he cupped her cheek and chin; and then turned her. Removing strands of her open hair from her shoulders, he nuzzled lightly on her neck, placing a soft kiss there.

He grazed her bare arms on both sides with his hands, held her hand and made her arms cross in front of her. He moved his hands lightly on her midriff as he hugged her from behind, the little bare part of her skin also being touched by him as a result; and she burned under his touch. His nose caressed her cheek on one side.

Unable to bear her body's intense reactions to his proximity, Kalpi freed herself and ran away from him, making some distance between them. She let others think that it was a part of their act, when he held her hand again, slowly bringing her closer to him, lip-syncing the words perfectly; as she continued her backwards walk with downcast eyes. Finally he turned her and they were lost for few moments in each other, forgetting about others.

He passed his palm across her eyes, turned her and touched her close eyes again with one hand. His other hand caressed her arm.

With one swap of fingers he signaled something and the lights went off, and when some seconds later they came back he was not near her. Kalpi looked for him here and there, and he came out of shadows lip-syncing perfectly the words "Main yahaan hon, yahaan ho yahaan, kaisi...". He came closer to her again, intimately dancing with her, placing soft kisses on her cheeks on either side, sometimes nuzzling near her ears and neck from a distance, but close enough for her to feel his breath on her skin. As the song ended, he let his hold on her loosen, and left her hand lightly as she made some distance between them and they continued to still stare into each other's eyes.
