Ratan didnt take control of the situation - chota Ranvi doing all sacrifices for Veera , she must have stopped him and made sure both of them get equal opportunities ... and made sure Ranvi also take care of his education

Like i said veera desperately needs her mother now- she's put in a fix btwn her love and her brother. Probably its time to take a firm stand and tell her son to give baldev another chance. Nobody's saying veeba hav to be married off tomorrow. Probably ranvi can give baldev some time or so to prove ranvi wrong - that he is not the right choice for veera. And i wish ratan puts this sense in him

On the overall view, I agree with u...but seeing on the mothers angle...view differs...it depends on the situations and circumstances...Ranvi was the alone mother from the initial days as ratan was not their for his support...coming to Ratan.. She was angry on her husband and his deeds which made her to hate veera, but she was not selfish kind...coming to bansuri...she is not good person, but still she's not good mother... this is my POV :D

That's exactly our point - rattan has been a good mother to ranvi not veera. At this hour veera needs a mother's support. Because now Ranvi's reaction is that of a father. Mothers bond with their children more emotionally and can relate with them and bond with them on and emotional level. They just chose to keep silent when the man of the house makes a decision to support him. This is wht happens in most of the Indian households.
