Yaar,He lived in a small village in gujarat for Ram-Leela preparation.And we all know he has to sacrifice his natural life to reach the 1950's for Lootera.All for the sake of a great performance.

I find all these acts so tiresome. I follow many actors who always give their 100% without these antics. All this drama screams attention seeking.

well,ya,each to his own.Different actors have different approach towards acting to understand the role better.If an actor doesn't relate to that character in any way it's tough to act it the natural way,than probably it's best to try to know the character and learn to breathe like it.Than it will be convincing

I get ur point abby..Some ppl put so much into method dat they forget to enjoy the craft (aamir) some enjoy spontaneity. ...but bajirao is much different n I guess lot more difficult than bittoo ricky bahl (his other characters) varun ram n bikram. Hence the prep

This seems less extreme than his prep for Lootera where he deliberately inflicted pain on himself to implement the scenes after he gets wounded.
Had gotten quite used to his presence on twitter/FB, hope he conducts another FB chat before going underground.
