"Once her truth comes out.. she will suicide herself." Abhi told her. Pragya stared at him shocked. "But first.." Abhi grabbed the Manglasutra.

"No.N-no. Pleas-" But her pleas went unheard. Abhi yanked the Manglasutra off. Aaliyah and Tannu smiled at the scene and exited. Abhi saw Pragya turning pale as she slumped to the ground, staring at her broken Manglasutra. Abhi looked at her once and left the room.

Hours later, Abhi returned to the room to find Pragya in the same position, still staring at her Manglasutra. Abhi was initially shocked, had Chashmish been in the same position all this time? But he brushed off the idea believing she heard him coming and sat back into the position.

Pragya had been broken. Her Manglasutra was lying in front of her broken. Each bead that had fallen broke her heart a million times. Abhi had removed her Manglasutra. He had removed it. After what felt like centuries, Pragya tore her gaze from the Manglasutra and tried to get up. She slowly got, taking the aid of the bed. She started walked out of the room, not turning back once to see a surprised Abhi.

"Where is she going now?" Abhi thought to himself. Out of curiosity he followed. Pragya not knowing what to do or where to go trusted her feet to lead her somewhere. She wasn't looking ahead, her head was down and she didn't pay attention to anything. Abhi yanking her Manglasutra off was the only thing she could see and hear. Unknown to Pragya she had reached the top of the roof and before she could take another step, Abhi pulled her to him. "Hey! Are you crazy? What the hell are you doing?"

Pragya was yanked out of her thoughts. She looked at Abhi and then the surrounding. After a moment she realized what she was about to do and that she was in Abhi's arms. She pulled away.

"Why did you save me? Huh? WHY? You wanted me to suicide na? You wanted nah? Well I was doing THAT!" Pragya screamed at him. Abhi couldn't help but stare at her. "You broke my Manglasutra! YOU BROKE IT! YANKED IT OFF MY NECK! That was the worse you could have done to me. You wanted to torture me? Or make me endure extreme pain? Well you succeeded today. You won Abhishek Mehra, you won." Pragya slumped to the ground crying.

"I.." Abhi tried to say something but was cut off.

"I what? I didn't do anything! I didn't!" Pragya cried. "All I ever wanted was to live a happy married life. I wanted Purab to marry Aaliyah. I didn't make him run away. I promise you I didn't. I promise to God, I did not do anything!" Abhi stared at her shocked. She had made a God Promise. If one thing Abhi knew about Pragya that she had an extremely strong faith and he didn't doubt her once for it.

Abhi didn't know what to do. He had broken Pragya to the core. Pragya sat there holding her legs. It hurt him so see her in such pain and suffering and what he had done today was the last straw. He got his mobile put and called someone urgently.

"Let's..go..to..the room." Abhi stumbled. Pragya was took shaken to say no. She knew, she needed rest or she would crumble into pieces. Abhi helped her to the room. Pragya was slow, really slow. It took literally half and hour to reach the room. Abhi had to pull Pragya hald the way because she would abruptly stop in the middle, lost in her own thoughts. By the time they reached the room, Abhi's parcel had arrived.

Pragya slowly walked towards the mirror. She looked at herself. She was incomplete. She was nothing without her Manglasutra. She was stripped from her identity. She felt like a nobody. Just then Abhi returned holding something in his hand.

Pragya looked at him and then faced the floor. Abhi slowly walked up to her, arguing whether he should do it or not? When he was near to Pragya, he knew what he had to do. He knew this was right. He slowly tied the new Manglasutra around her neck. Pragya at first couldn't believe her eyes, it was just like the old one. (I am not a Hindu. I don't know whether this is possible to have another one if one is broken so I am sorry if it doesn't make sense.)

Pragya stared at him shocked. Abhi was busy tying the Manglasutra. A Manglasutra on her neck. Pragya didn't believe this could happen.

"I'm sorry." Abhi looked at the floor. "I know this is not enough but I don't know what to do. This misunderstanding has caused so much pain to so many people. I don't think I will ever be able to earn your forgiveness. And what I did today was the last straw, I shouldn't have done that.. I.." Abhi was cut off with Pragya hugging him tightly and crying.

"Thank you." She said quietly. Abhi wanted to break the walls. After all he did, Pragya was still thanking him. "It's not your fault. You don't have to be sorry." Together neither of them knows how long they stood in that position. Pragya stopped crying after sometime but she did not let go, for the fear this might be a dream. Abhi kept her close to protect her from everything, if necessary from himself as well.
