Why do you think Dadisa performed Anandi's marriage with Shiv!?

I chose Dadisa's involvement in Anandi's marriage with Shiv as the poll question because it has already happened.Gehna's remarriage is yet to take place.

But the topic of discussion is about Dadisa's interest in remarriage (in the case of her Daughters-in-Law i.e; Anandi & Gehna)

The motive/ ambition/ intention behind Dadisa's every action is very deep & intense + her manipulative ways to get things done according to her wish.

So her interest in getting her Daughters-in-Law remarried...is it genuine? or just to save her from the sin she has committed long ago!

Or is the case of Gehna entirely different from that of Anandi (because she has changed over time❓

Anything else you observed?!

Isn't repenting for bad deeds done in the past a genuine emotion😕? Why should that be given a motive like its something bad?

For both Anandi and Gehna she was repenting for her own misdeeds The biggest sinner is she in the family and ruined everyone's lives She repented for her own misdeeds as well as she is genuinely concerned for their happiness and want to bring the happiness back to them Thats it but yeah for her own ladesar she was greedy for great grandchild first and later with Sanchi more concerned to please Anandi ka sasra For others her intention has been their happiness

All the points mentioned here are applicable to change Dadisa's attitude towards this socially relevant aspect ...and the main content of this story !

According to me all the above mentioned points are equally reasonable causes to change her conservative mind towards her DILs .

ds decided to marry anandi with shiv because anandi unable to remove jagya from her mind completely , ds once told that unless anandi get married anandi cant forget jagya completely

DS felt the pain of Anandi...Remember the scene when Jagya asks her apology she recollects all the trauma Anandi went through and refuses to apologize him.

She felt guilty for the way she treated Anandi...She used to get flashes of Anandi's childhood and her behaviour towards her.

Fear of sin...A traditional lady that to being elderly she had a fear of sin and love for God. Hence she wanted to rectify her mistakes.

Keeping Jagya in mind...yes, her self ego was hurt when the person who was dearer to her than anything else and whom she trusted the most, didn't bother to listen her.

All this made her go and search the best man for Anandi.

When Jagya was back she was unable to control her emotions for him. We have seen her imagining Jagya in Shiv's place many times. It's natural for her to behave like this even Sumitra imagined Jagya with Anandi during AnSh engagement and marriage.

Because of this blind love DS wanted Anandi to be with Jagya again but when Anandi refused thank god she didn't scheme against AnSh may be she understood that Anandi Shiv bond is pure and stronger than her love for Jagya, hence she bowed down!

Look at her gestures during AnSh marriage.

She could have got rid of Anandi easily but she chose a perfect partner for her. Remember when she visited few houses (before Shiv's entry) in search of an alliance for Anandi. After observing those so called grooms, she felt, seeing them itself is equal to insulting Anandi.

Though DS actions seemed to be manipulative in her efforts to bring Anandi & Shiv closer, she never presented a false Anandi and cheated Shiv and his family. Shiv saw the true version of Anandi hence he fell in love with her and his family was able to welcome her.

I haven't concluding that Dadisa has bad motives. I'm just trying to know forum members' views on this.😊This is just a TV serial and I think it is good to discuss rather than make conclusions.

Those who voted for 'Ladesar hurt her self ego hence she stood for Anandi' please share your views,why do you think so?😊

A truly good topic to debate!

In Anandi's case: There were several emotions were attached and Dadisa was more hurt, because Jagya disobeyed her and Anandi, Jagya only cared for Gauri, his Love, but he never gave a thought to what will happen to Anandi if he is in extra marital affair considering his child marriage with Anandi. Anandi was broken and became a victim of child marriage that is why the story is all about Balika Vadhu, how she moves on in her facing all the troubles from all sides. Dadisa realised her mistake of doing child marriage as people change over time especially the kind of change in Jagya.

Dadisa wanted Anandi to be happy like before because over years she is with her and has realised the importance of anandi. Dadisa wanted Anandi to have her own happy married life and for how many more years Anandi will live like a Balika Vadhu where her husband Loves any other woman? Hence, Dadisa got Anandi married to a matured person like Shiv, who can take things maturely.

In Gehna's case: The situations are all different. Gehna has lived a happy married life. Though the age gap in her marriage with her husband was actually big but Gehna is still young and has whole life to live. Moreover, She has Two kids from her late husband and hence she needs someone who can support her emotionally. I'm Not saying that a single mother cannot raise her children alone but instead, I'm, saying that emotional support is needed equally and that support can only be given from a life partner.

No doubt, a single mother can raise and live with her children proudly but if the person a lady or a gentleman, has lost their partner, then they can go for re-marriage to give a good life for their kids and also for themselves.

Dadisa realised that her grandchildren needs a fatherly figure in their life and hence, She decided that Gehna should move on with time.

Also, We can say that Dadisa is repenting for her mistakes, but she has learnt from her mistakes and changed herself over the time. That is appreciative.

If dadisa didn't handle Anandi's remarriage issue may be no one from Badi Haveli would have been able to do this...as perfectly as dadisa did it. Her determination, courage, strength...were mind blowing!

But do you think dadisa would have realized Anandi's pain if Jagat remained in Badi Haveli ❓
