PART - 13
"f**k!!!" Rk shouts.
"Have you gone out off your mind, madhu? How could you say things like that? You know what kind of bond we share, very well but then you are... It's just disgusting" he shakes his head in anger.
"Rishab, please listen to me..." madhu pleads him.
"What's more to listen? I don't want to hear any shit from you" he growls.
"Rishab, please believe me... when I was coming upstairs I heard sultan bhai & bhabhi's fight & I thought not to interfere in their business but then I heard them taking your name... I don't know what they were actually talking, then after few minutes Sultan bhai dashed out of the room not even realizing I was standing nearby & when I stepped into their room I saw bhabi crying on floor clutching a photo of YOURS".
"So? So what, Madhu? If she holds my photo then you will think she loves me? Yes, we do love each other & care for each other but not in the way you think. Actually what you know about love & relationship?" he asks furiously & she stares at him wordlessly.
"Why are you shouting at me?"
"I'm shouting at you because I'm f**king mad at u"
"I'm just saying what I saw & I want you to help them to sort out their issue"
"Why would I do that?
"Because you are involved in it. You need to clear the air"
"There is nothing to clear. You are mistaken."
"No! I'm not!" she says stubbornly.
"Just stop it, Madhubala" he sighs. "I'm getting late. See you in the evening. Bye" he says & stomps out of the room.

(Few hours later)
Rk was sitting in his cabin rubbing his forehead & thinking about the days event. That's when he heard a knock at the door & wondered who's next to eat up his mind.
"May I come in, Doctor" Dr.Andrea asks slightly peeking in her head.
"yes, please" he says politely.
"Um... Doctor, are you okay? You seem tensed" Andrea asks him seeing his uneasiness.
"Yes. I'm fine. Please tell me how can I help you?" he know he was highly troubled but he doesn't want to share with anyone & he wants her to leave his room sooner rather than later so that he could get some peace of mind.
"Dr.Kundra, I need to apologize to you for the party night. I really don't know how I got drunk. I actually ordered for orange juice but... I... I don't know whether my drink got exchanged or something but i'm really sorry for putting you in trouble & thanks for taking care of me. You made a right decision by not taking me to my home or else my parents would have got so worried. Thanks again" Dr.Andrea genuinely apologizes to Rk.
"Please, Dr.Andrea. Don't feel sorry. It happens" he smiles. She nods.
"Doctor, have you heard about the transfer news? The heads are planning to transfer few eminent Doctor to our new hospital in Delhi"She asks.
"Yeah, I know. Yesterday, myself & Dr.Mukkund were discussing about that only. Why? Are you planning to shift?" he asks.
"No. I'm not moving anywhere. If they offer also i'll deny it! You know my fianc is also from Mumbai so..."
"Oh! U r getting married?" he asks her with a surprised smile. "Congratulations. Hope you also be as happy as i'm in my married life"
"Aww... thanks, Dr.kundra. I hope so" she smiles sweetly.
Suddenly Rk's phone buzzes & to see his Dad calling.
"Hello, Dad... What?...How?...Madhu?...i'm coming now to your office?" he says & hangs up the call. "Um... Dr.Andrea, it's an emergency, I need to go so can you manage here" he asks her.
"Oh sure. Is everything Okay? She asks him seeing his worried expression.
"Yeah! Everything is fine. Thank you" he says & dashes out.

"Dad, where is madhu? What happened? Did you call the police?" He asks rapidly.
"Rishu Beta, Relax. Everything is under control. Police is investigating. Madhu is in her room" he says calmly so that he can make Rk calm down.
"But how fire catches? Any damage?"
"We are not sure about how the fire catches but we assume due to some circuit problem electrical wire burned... & our newly imported stocks got damaged but glad Madhu's safe" Mohan sighs in relief but Rk is worry has raised.
"What she was doing in Warehouse?" Rk asks.
"Actually I asked Sultan to check the stocks but he was busy right then so madhu volunteered that she will do that inspection for me so I let her but never thought I myself will endanger her life" he says regretfully.
"Dad, what's your mistake in this? I will go see madhu" he says & strides towards her room.
"Madhu..." he calls her gently & she turns around & smiles at him. He immediately ran towards her & hugs her tightly burying his nose in her hair & she hugs him back inhaling his scent.
"You, Alright?" he asks holding her at arms length & his eyes were scanning her from head to toe to make sure that she is not injured.
"I'm Fine, Doctor. Thanks to Sultan bhai. He only came on right time & saved me" she says.
"Sultan?" he asks quizzically.
"Yeah! I got stuck in the room then he came on right time & we both together put out the fire through fire extinguisher" she briefs him.
"Okay. Come"
"Where?"
"We are going home" he says & takes her hand. "But I have work" she says.
"I don't care. We are going & I need to talk to you" he says sternly. She agrees & walks with him.
"What you want to talk?" she asks while they were on their way in car.
"I'm sorry for shouting at you in morning" he says.
"Oh! I forgot that incident! Well, what's there to say sorry. You said what you felt right. I'm cool about it" she smiles.
"No, you were right" he says
"What do you mean? She asks confused
"Today, Bhabi came to meet me" he says & stops the car near a coffee shop. "Come. We'll sit & talk in the cafe" he opens her door & takes her hand & leads her to the cafe.
"Two latte" he orders knowing well even madhu likes latte.
"What she told?" madhu asks.
"She said Sultan & her relationship is not going well. He seems quite distant. He is not even talking to her properly. She feels like he was coming to home only for Adi & not for her. She feels rejected & when she asked about it to sultan, he blames her that she is not finding time for him." he says softly & runs his hand through his hair.
"Okay! These issues are common in all families. Once they have kids every couple lack time for themselves. So what's there to bring you in their personal issue." she asks.
"Dipali Bhabi said she made a wrong decision in loving sultan & marrying him. She also said she should have loved someone like me. sultan never care for her, all that matters to him is his business, even when she was pregnant I was the one who took care of her. you know what madhu, I care for her like how I care for trishna. Why don't Dipali & sultan understand that?" he sighs.
"Relax Rishab. None of you are blamed to be here. See, Sultan bhai was trying hard to stand on his own & in that process he forgot his family, Bhabi was yearning for his love & care but she dint get when she needed & got the much needed solace from you so she is slightly attracted to you. Who will not love such a person like you?"
"But still you dint say you love me" he murmurs. She hears is comment & smiles & proceeds "You care for everyone selflessly which I like the most in you & they are mistaking your affection." she says.
"I guess you are right, madhu" he says.
"Even I know something about love & relationship" she snaps.
"Madhu, i'm sorry. I was angry at u & in my anger such word came out of me but I dint mean it" he says genuinely.
"i know" she smiles & he smiles in relief.
"Well, what are you going to do?" she asks.
"Initially I was confused what to do but now I made my mind. I want to keep you save" he says.
"What? I don't get you?' she asks not understanding his concern.
"Madhu, can't you see someone is behind us, behind our happiness? First your car accident, then the photo issue & now this fire" he says & dread pass through his eyes.
"Doctor, it was an accident. Actually u should have become a detective instead of Doctor always sniffing something when there is nothing" she sighs.
"if anything happens to you..." his voice choked. "i'll never forgive myself... I want to protect you because I love you" she stares his eyes with delight.
"Well?" she asks.
"Do u trust me?" he asks.
"Yes" she says truly.
"Will you support me with my decision?"
"Doctor, please don't embarrass me by asking such questions. I will blindly support you because I know full well you would never lead me to wrong path. Just tell me your decision?" she asks seriously.
"We are shifting to Delhi. My mom has an apartment there & we both could move in there so that I could keep you away from all these problems & also I want to put some distance between me & bhabi so that they might resolve their issues too" he says & she stares at him.
"Madhu...??" he gently calls her.
"Take me to my mama & papa, please Rishab" she begs. He can't read what was in her mind but he agrees to her request & asked her not to tell anyone the actual reason but to tell just he got transfer.
"Madhu... Rk... come in!!" padmini invites them surprised with their sudden visit & calls Malik from his study room.
"Madhu, I heard about the fire in our office. Are you okay beta?" Malik asks concerned.
"I'm good, papa. We are here to tell... um... Rishab is getting transferred to delhi hospital & we are moving there in two days" she says & faintly smiles.
"Mukkund told me about this but why cant you deny the transfer order? We all are here & what you two will do there?" Malik asks him politely. Madhu lets them discuss & slowly walked to the kitchen where her mama was preparing snacks for them.
"Papa... wo... actually I..." he stammers.
"Its okay, RK. I know you will never take such big decision without any reason so no need to explain just take care of my princess" Mohan smiles.
"Thanks papa. You don't worry about madhu. She is like a baby to me & I will take utter care of her. Trust me" he says & Mohan nods.
"Mama... we are leaving u all... I will miss you... I don't know when we will see you again" Madhu cries hugging her mama.
"Madhu, you are not going to any foreign country... here is delhi... one flight we will be there or u'll be here. Of course we will miss you but what to do, it's Rk work right?" she consoles madhu. she nods.
"Bye, Papa" she hugs malik. "Take care beta" Malik kisses her on her forehead.
"Good luck for your new life in Delhi" Both malik & padmini wishes them & they made their way to Kundra mansion to let them know the news.
"Dad, my decision is final. We are going & I don't know when we will come back to Mumbai. May be a year or so later." he says with finality.
"Madhu has a job here" Mohan tries to convince his stubborn son.
"She is bright enough to find a job on her own in Delhi" he snaps. All the while Madhu remains silent. Everyone tried their best to stop them but in vain. though Rk & madhu were not ecstatic with their decisions but they have no other go to make all good.
Rk knows well that madhu needs some time to control her emotions which she was trying to hide from him so he left her on her own & went to his study to compose himself. A while later he dosed off in his arms chair. Madhu stirs on her bed & her hand searches for Rk but to feel empty. Her eyes wide open & scanned the entire room but he was not there so walks out in search of him & found him sleeping on chair in study room. She knows very well how much he love to stay with his family as he was always away from them but yet again he is going away from them & she made her mind not to show herself weak in front of him & never let him feel the absence of her family. She moves closer to him & crawls on his lap & snakes her hand around his neck & lays her head on his chest & he protectively wraps his arms around her waist & hugs her close & let her sleep on him. After a hour or so he wakes suddenly feeling madhu shift on him uncomfortably. Then he picks her in his arms carefully not waking her & took her to their room & places her gently on the bed & he too stretches beside her & pulls the duvet over them.
(2 days later in Airport)
whole Kundra & Malik's family were there to see off Rk & madhu.
"Sultan, before leaving I need to end all the misunderstanding we both have. Please take care of Adi & bhabi. She needs your love. Bye" he says & hugs him. He hugs back.
"Bhabi, sultan really loves you but he got himself busy in business but he will come around soon. he is still the same sultan u loved so don't let yours hopes down & dream on something with is not yours" he says politely & she nods getting exactly what he means.
Rk hugs is mom, dad & trishna & they took blessing from the elders.
Madhu bid bye to her her family & his family. "Madhu... time to board" he gently says & pulls her close in his arm. She nods & they turned to walk. "Madhu..." dipali calls as Adi was in her arms. Madhu was well prepared not to cry but when Adi goes out of her hand to her mom her tears in bay burst & she sobs in Rk's chest. "Hush... baby... please..." he whispers & rubs her shoulder to soothe her. After looking a final glance & waving to all of them they made there way.
"Madhu... come in" he opens the apartment door & hold out his hand to take her into their new home. It was a small two bed room flat, though the flat was bought long back it look very new as it was well furbished recently.
"Madhu... do you like the place" he asks smilingly.
"I love it, Doctor" she beams. "Well lots of space for us so we could explore all the way" she winks.
"So finally my despo biwi is back. I'm so glad." he genuinely smiles in relief & kisses on her forehead. After two days now only she's back to her normal crazy form.
"Come. Lets go to bed" He says.
"No! I like this couch" she points her index finger to a red couch in the hall.
"So?" he frowns.
"Bed is so boring. We will do IT here" she grins salaciously.
"God! Madhu, I'm tired & so you are. I called you to sleep not to play. If u like this couch, fine!. Sleep here but i'm going to bed. At least u dosed off for some time in flight but not for a single minute I closed my eye lids" he shakes his head.
"What I will do in this couch without you?" she pouts. he smiles at her cuteness. "Okay! You have asked me so nicely so u can sleep but give my kiss then launch yourself on bed" she says. "If i din't give ur kiss what u'll do?" he asks playfully. "u know what i'll do" she smirks. "I won't let u sleep whole night" she adds. He chuckles & pulls her into his embrace & kisses her hardly then he scoops her suddenly making her squeal & walks to their new bed room & drops her gently on bed & in minutes after placing his watch, phone & wallet on the chest of drawers, he too joins her, wishing & hoping for a new beautiful life.
