How Prithvi married Ichhini

Hey guys while surfing i found this info.

Bheemdeo, the ruler of Gujarat, had killed Prithvi Raj's father Someshwar in battle. Prithvi Raj was, therefore, itching to avenge his father's death. An opportunity presented itself when Bheemdeo asked for the hand in marriage of Ichchhini Kumari, the daughter of Jait Parmar, the ruler of Abu. When his suit was rejected, he threatened invasion. Jait Parmar sought Prithvi Raj's help. Prithvi Raj was only too willing to oblige because he had an old score to settle with Bheemdeo. In the battle fought on the banks of the Sabarmati river within Bheemdeo's territory, Prithvi Raj inflicted a crushing defeat on the former. A grateful Jait Parmar then gave his daughter Ichchhini Kumari in marriage to the proud victor Prithvi Raj.

Sagars haven't shown Bheemdev's defeat like this, so I think they are not showing Prithvi marring Ichhini or Indravati (I suppose) only Sanyogita for him in the serial.😳😆

the story is same in PR Raso.. but he had married inchini.. when someshwar was alive..n inchini was bhimdev's sister in law...

then how come its same yaar? I mean he surely wouldnt have been so keen abt taking revange of his fathers death naa.. 😛

not for revenge.. but there was always some enimity between gujrat n ajmer

hey merry actually the serial is based on the popular epic story "Prithviraj raso" by chandbadri..........according to this story Chandbadri was Prithviraj's court poet & the story highlights mainly on the freindship of Prithvi & his 4 friends, love of Prithvi & sanyo & the greatness of Prithvi as a warrior king..............but historians have found many disputes with this story.........History says The epic "PrithviRaso" was written long after Prithvi's time.........There is confusion also in Prithvi's ancestral info..........according to history there was no king of anagpal at that time............Prithvi conquered delhi by his own.........his mother's actual name is Karpuravalli who was a Tripuri Rajpoot princess.........

So dont mix up PrithRaso with what history says.😊........Prithvi raj is popular in history fo being the last Hindu emperor of the Throne of Delhi..........& during his time it was the largest dynasty under his rule.......

Hi lakshmi (I think that's your name😊), so did Prithvi married even before he was 13?? As Someshwar died when Prithvi was 13. And then why didn't Someshwar went to fight with Bheemdev and send Prithvi (so young as he was).
Also I want to know what version of Prithviraj Raso you have. I mean how long it is, with appox how many versus. If you could PM me the details, Please. A want a copy of it too.
