Okay...so here goes the answer to my debut riddle😃
Ans. The Slytherin Locket turned into a horcrux
Dark beyond night -Full of a very horrible kind of dark magic as we all know, so dark and horrible that it defeats the darkness of the night sky too, where there are atleast twinkling stars to guide the way
Evil beyond belief -even are witty brains aka Hermione Granger, she found it hard to believe that someone could do something as horrible as this...splitting the soul...how evil one must have to be for that...
Like a basketball I've been treated -The way a basketball is passed between the players in a game of basketball, same way, the locket went in many hands
between the hands of masters and thieves -the locket was with its original master ie Salazar Slytherin, then with Borgin and Burkes, then with Tom Riddle (who i guess acquired it through thievery as i remember) then with Regulus, who stole it, then with Kreacher, who couldn't destroy it, then it was again stolen by Mundungus Fletcher, then it went to that no-less-than-a-thief Umbridge, then it went to the trio, the masters of the books...
I lead a lavish life -the Horcrux has a lot of protection for it, it simply rests in peace at its place, 'cause it is difficult to destroy too...
not of money, but of importance -The lavish luxuries that the locket enjoys are not because it is valuable and expensive as an ancient artefact, instead, all the protection given to it, ie the potion in the stone basin in the cave, the trio always wearing it in turns, not letting it lie around, all of this was because the horcrux was very very important, important for Voldemort as a part of his soul, important for Regulus to destroy it as a last positive deed, important for Kreacher to destroy it to keep his master's orders, important for Harry to finish the mission that Dumbledore left him with, important for the whole wizarding and the muggle world 'cause only its destruction was the way to Voldemort's downfall...
My misguiding can push you -When it sensed danger, it started misguiding the one who was about to destroy it, ie Ron and the false things it showed had literally pushed Ron to the edge of believing it all...
to utmost fear and feared ignorance -it had almost pushed Ron to believe that all his fears were true, that he was not needed between Harry and Hermione, and that ignorance was the thing he feared so much...
********
this is part-2 of the riddle I had made, but I didn't get a chance to post it...😉 Anjali was too quick😆 👏
Innocent I remain -it stays silent all the time as if nothing has happpened, its metal heart beating like ours but it shows no signs of the atrocities it beholds
till danger lingers over me -but when it comes near its destruction, it starts acting evil-ly and even violently
In that case I become -in case its destruction is near, for ex. when Ron was ready to thrash it with the sword, or when Harry was about to acquire the venom impregnated sword of Gryffindor...
a deadly rebel unseen -in such cases, it behaves fataly, deadly, rebellious...when Harry was about to get the sword...it froze the lake over him to drown him in it, when Ron was about to destroy it, it threw up that viscious cloud of dark ink and false fears for Ron, the force on this 'rebel' literally pushed Ron and Harry to the ground, and ofcourse, they had never expected that something this bad could happen, it was definitely unseen...
Not all but a few -not any power is sufficient, only very selected ones...
have the power to take over me -there are only a fair few chosen powers like basilisk venom, that can really destroy the horcrux...normal charms and enchantments have no effect on it...
For till I live -till the time the horcrux remains unharmed...
I provide my master with immortal destiny -it doesn't let its master die in the future. The original owner was Salazar Slytherin, but because Voldemort put a piece of his soul in it, he literally became the master of the Locket aka Horcrux...and till the time even one Horcrux remains, its master can not die, because the part of his soul in the Horcrux still remains alive...so till the time the horcrux aka locket in this case is living, is unharmed, its master aka Voldemort, he remains immortal...
So that was my first riddle, I hope u all liked it...
PS- On a more bhawuk side, this riddle is special to me...for a set of reasons...it is ofcourse, my first Harry Potter riddle I ever came up with, It was also the opening riddle of season six, and so many friends appreciated me on it... :')
also...i'm reallly attached to the month of September, I am really sad it has ended...and as i said before, I wrote this riddle as September faded/melted into October...so this riddle was one of the last things I did in the month of September...so its really important for me...
Okay i'm sorry, i just have the track of my bhawuk side, when it all of a sudden pops up...on a brighter side, I have another riddle ready...so...should I post it???
PPS- Anjali, I'll soon post the links...of the question and the answer in both the posts...dw..😊😉
