Well it's a good decision as I don't think it's going to hurt the movie. I am bored of all the promotions these days. The last movie promotions that I enjoyed a lot was of Gunday & I didn't even watch that movie as the trailer was enough to tell me that it's not for me.

Promotions are great for some small budget movies with lesser known stars as it increases awareness of the product among audiences but it isn't going to make much difference for big star movies. Bang Bang was a hit right after the teaser release. The content & audience reaction will decide if it will be a ATBB.

He might still come on Comedy Nights because that isn't a reality show. The article says Hrithik won't promote his films on reality shows... So I'm assuming Kapils show is still happening ?

He did not go to the shows . But he used to show up in the commercials between every two shows and literally beg all the people to watch his film being shown on TV for the first time
