that crying scene was totally pathetic bt I dnt blame varun for that scene he was not only tired doing that scene bt also the stupid director made him consume alcohol to do that scene. U could see he just didn't have any control over his facial muscles. I really cnt believe that a director would make an actor who was only in his 3rd film consume alcohol and be on screen when it wasn't even needed nor required.

I haven't seen any of Varun's films till date but he had great screen presence in SOTY..That said, i do think Sid & Alia have improved..I haven't seen EV but i loved Sid in HTP..He underplayed the role & made Nikhil look pretty realistic & charming..And i loved Alia in 2 States..She lights up the screen & has decent dialogue delivery too..KJo sucks as a director so am not surprised that they all sucked in SOTY 😆

agree varun has improved the most and has the most potential...he's acted very well in all 3 movies...hskd was his movie all the way...don't know why people say he's not versatile since he's only 3 films old plenty of time to be versatile at this early stage it's more important that these young actors prove they can act well

Among the SOTY cast, Varun is the most promising actor. He was so good in HSKD. It can't be compared to MTH (watched both), there were a lot of differences between those two roles.

HSKD was all Varun show! He's got a lot of talent, seriously. Sidharth has the looks and all but Varun can prove that he is talented and goodlooking in the upcoming years.

I think they all have improved but I feel Varun and Alia are way ahead in acting than Sid is. I thought Varun did a great job in SOTY - it's a shame the movie was crap that I can't even shower praises on his performance but I thought he did really well and outshined the other two. He was shooo cute in MTH and Humpty was just... gah, perfect. Really struck a chord with my heart. He's got a very confident screen presence, natural dialogue delivery and he dances like a dream. I find him extremely attractive and he's always so well dressed. 😊

Aloo - I thought she was fab in Highway and amazing in 2 States. Even in HSKD, I thought she played the forthright naughty desi girl very well. I think she needs to work a bit more on her dialogue delivery - even in interviews she speaks too fast. But other than that, she's a natural too. Oh and I enjoyed her dancing in D Se Dance - I didn't think she was a good dancer but she did well in that song 😊

Sid - Well, I think I've bashed him enough for HTP so, moving on. SOTY - disaster - the whole movie and his performance. I thought he did a good job in EV - definitely signs of improvement there but nothing spectacular (I guess coz also the movie was a big letdown).
