Hrithik Roshan has an obsession for perfumes

Few know that Hrithik Roshan has a big fixation for perfumes. The actor has a huge collection of his favourite brands, which he picks up from various stores around the world.

However, Hrithik doesn't limit his use to his personal life, but also wears them in all his films.

A source close to the actor says that Hrithik loves dabbing on his favourite perfume on the sets.

"Right from his first film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai to Jodhaa Akbar, Hrithik has used a different perfume for each film.

Every time he wraps up one project, he moves on to another scent. However, Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren is one of his all-time favourites. "

Period flavour

We are told that Hrithik worked really hard for Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodha Akbar, to get into the feel of the character. So much so, he actually stayed away from contemporary perfumes and used ittar (traditional essence made from flowers) instead!

"Hrithik wears really heavy and ornate costumes in the film. So in keeping with the period feel of the film, he wore ittar instead of one of his sporty perfumes."

Shot extensively in Karjat and Rajasthan, Jodhaa Akbar tells the tale of the 16th century Mughal Emperor Akbar and his wife, Jodha Bai.

never knew that... but i think a lot of ppl have such passion for wearing perfumes, so its not only hrithik! 😆

and i don think it makes a difference if he wears different perfumes for different films, because we can not smell those scents while watching films! 😆

The viewers can't smell. But the actresses can smell it 😳
