I noticed this first in the case of PC. Before Barfi, she did some average films and everyone was writing her off telling "Her time's over in the industry...she'll be gone soon". But then Barfi happened and everyone was like "Oh !! I always knew Priyanka was the best actress ever" With PeeCee it occured many times.

The same kinda happened with Anushka. After MKBKM, she apparently had no films. So everyone in the forum was criticizing her choices and telling "She's done. Next please !" But now she has four-five films in her hand and everyone is praising her her choices and saying they knew Anushka was their favourite for a long time.

The worst was Kangana's case. Not only in the forum, even in the industry everyone treated her badly and mocked her. But than Krishh 3 and QUEEN happened !! And then BOOM..everyone was heard saying Kangana was an underrated actress and deep down my heart I always knew she is going to succeed and she was obviously better than all the others. And I'm like W*F ?? Abhi tak toh nonsense actress thi..ab underrated actress !!

In the case of actors it is happening with Shahid. He was completely mocked for his choices and roles and called a babyface, failure, etc.. But he has proved it with Haider. And people have again started telling everyone--I always knew Shahid is a good actor. Just that I didn't tell anyone.

Why do you think people in this forum are such hypocrites and are so quick to write people off ? Do share !!

Flop or hit, being criticized of being complimented, they are the one who get money. Not me. 🤢

1. Like someone said, all of us are hypocrites at the end of the day..
2. We are a melodramatic bunch..Go overboard while writing someone off & go all out praising the same person in a month's time 😆
3. Success changes your perspective about ppl..Like someone pointed out, Alia went from being annoying to adorable in no time 😆
4. Human mind is fickle & they are celebs at the end of the day so its okay to change your mind depending on their behavior & the kinda films they do
5. Its easy to jump on the bandwagon & praise the flavor of the season..Also, when someone is praised by everyone, there are times when you think you were probably wrong in underestimating them cos the majority feels otherwise & you try hard to convince yourself that the actor/ actress is indeed all that & more 😆

P.S. I have been guilty of doing this a few times too..All of us are biased, fickle & hypocritical at the end of the day 😆

More than being hypocritical, it's the human nature to applaud when it's due and criticize otherwise. Bashing of course like Hasini said is for sadistic pleasure 😆
