This (check link below) is the kind of reply expected from TOI/BT if Priya Gupta's reply was genuine.

Priya Gupta's reply was more like that troll LuvRanKat who picks negative comments on Deepika and posts those in a 10X disgusting way. Result? Field day for feminists and moral polices.

I can buy the staged theory up to the "Dear Deepika". No managing editor would risk their paper's reputation and their own name on such a controversial stance unless they actually bought into it. Professional suicide is never really people's cup of tea.

According to some "neutral members" anything involving DP is all PR. Priya Gupta who wrote the editorial is sooo in luuuve with DP that she goes to write a whole piece basically humiliating her and also putting her own professional reputation at stake. All done just for love.
