how was there a tie?

can anyone explain the maths pls. since Ashish got more marks and more votes, how was there a tie?

Ashish got 39, karan got 37 ( including the relay round). I'm a little confused or did I get the marks wrong . ?

Then the tie thing came. First they said.. Its a tie in marks and votes. And then they say Ashish got more votes than karan. Hows is that possible? 😆

It can be a tie. Ranveer said that the results will be decided with adding relay round scores and viewer votes

Ashish got more than karan jn votes karan got more than Ashish in scores so when they combined it together it apparently became a tie so as they couldn't give the trophy to both of them they had to only give it to Ashish as he got higher votes than karan. I hope that answered your question :)
