Set against the fashion world, this is a passionate love story between a small town girl and a rough and tough millionaire. This is the story of how destiny brings together two people who don't see eye to eye on anything when they meet but eventually fall head over heels in love with each other. The show is set in a Muslim household and brings forth a story of determination, hard work and perseverance.
CAST
A small town girl from Lucknow, she is full of life and dreams. Never short on confidence, she believes that modernity is not defined by the clothes one wears, but by the actions one exhibits. She is now working in Mumbai, where she hopes to fulfil her aspirations.
He dark, twisty, moody, brooding, ambitious, ruthless, a money making machine. A millionaire, he is the owner of a fashion house in Mumbai. He believes that he has no soft side to his personality and thrives on power and money. He is also known to have re written the rules of business. Hence he is nicknamed the 'Shark'.
Matriarch of the family, Alvira commands everyone. Her word is Sahir's command. She talks and walks with a certain power. She is glamorous and it is impossible to miss her in any gathering. Very class conscious and makes it clear. She has never imagined a situation where anyone whether family, friends, staff or just anyone could say a no to her.
She is very warm and compassionate. A woman of principles, she has always stood for what she thinks is right, irrespective of what it costs her. By being a supportive Grandmother, Daadi has proved that daughters are a boon for the family and equal to boys in all respects.
In spite of having been through a lot of hardships, she has managed to keep her smile intact for her daughters and Ammi. She has worked very hard to give her daughters the best of education and stability. She still hopes that her husband Sarfaraz will come around and take responsibility of his daughters.
