No sense at all. Instead of Bhide, Asit Modi himself should have said that he gave the celebration party and that would have made some sense at least😡

Bhide didn't spend a single money from his pocket. He spent the money from the society fund.

And speking about Bhide, I have seen some tution teachers earning lakhs and evantually owning a mercedez😆

I am not saying Bhide is one such person and agree that teachers are underpaid a lot, but that does not meAn they can't live a decent life. Same goes for patrakaar.

And it is shown that Bhide definitely worries about money aspect. But Jethalal ? 1-2 lakhs is nothing for him. He carrries atleast 10000 cash everyday in his wallet.

But then why is he living here ? He can have a bigger flat or a house if he is that rich. But no, this rich man will not increase his subordinate's pagaar even if he is asking since 7 years. He has just 2 workers in his shop who do everything. Even after 7 years, he still has not expanded his business. But still he is rich !! Because money is not a problem for him or his wife or father.

Mehta kaunsa job karta hain? Definitely not on technical side! May be administrative or HR ? He has no children, so no added expenses of raising them.

Hathi is general practioner. How much do they eArn? He is not a specialist to earn a lot. I can call him a truly middle class.

Sodhi owns a garage but how big is that ? Garage can be a roadside or in a big showroom too.

All I am saying is GD wasis are people just like you and me. We splurge sometimes, save some money, worry sometimes about money, have a wish list.

That is why this show was so successful be ause we could see our image in those charcters. I am of coarse talking about earlier times of the show !

Good Doctor-huh one who sits at home,eats 3times his weight along with his son,sees 2-3 patients.how can he earn so much-Please doctors are not minting money-Don't have this preconception-Yes if he owned a nursing home,then agreed-Home sitting physician in a metro like mumbai-how much he makes everyone knows that too GP-People are smart -They know to go to specialist even cough cold-they go to Ent not GP.

Scientists have limited salary in India unlike in US where they get unlimited grants for research projects-SO yes Iyer earns money,saves & then spends.

Mehta is writer ,works in a office not private .so his income is also salary,Didnt see him writing for any other company/moonlighting in the serial-Real Tarak Mehta may be rich-

i am confused by scientist-One episode they showed Iyer as Rocket scientist,Another episode he was mixing chemicals-Mr Asit Modi scientist is not all in all mixing chemicals &also making rockets-

Isko itna seriously kyun le rahe ho yaar?The makers are not taking this show seriously that's why they are showing crappy tracks one by one.
The answer to ur question is they just pretend to be middle class but they r not.They spend money lavishly in celebrating festivals, anniversaries, etc.This show is too impractical. U can't find such people and such situations anywhere in the world.

@india 2050: I have no preconception about doctors dear. They have showed Hathi going to hospital too. General Physicians do have a sound income.Even a simple M.B.B.S will earn quite some to spend.

Coming to say about scientist, I am not talking about grants they get for research. I am simply talking about their income. Its not that they have sound salary which others don't have but they have other facilities which other service holders don't get.

As for Mehta it is difficult to judge him but the fact that he is a imminent writer in the series is reason enough to believe he is earning pretty good.

@ Aarti: Yes, Bhide should have a sound financial condition because these days coaching centres earn a lot but his coaching class has only 1 teacher with a handful of students which restricts his income.

Nevertheless, the people who spends for HOngkong trip cannot afford a car and that is what is surprising. Again they hold GKM anad GPL each year without fail.
