In the non-fiction space, Ashish, a non dancer, took the challenge of burning the dance floor in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7 (Colors and BBC Worldwide).
He looked visibly uncomfortable in his initial performances, but with his hard work and hunger for triumph, Ashish came out of the cocoon and emerged as a beautiful dancer.
And folks, Ashish has gone on to win season 7 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
He impressed the judges and garnered maximum audience votes.
Out of the final four contestants, namely Mouni Roy, Karan Tacker and Shakti Mohan...and Ashish himself... the former three bit the dust.
There were high chances of Mouni clinching the winner trophy, but finally Ashish had the last laugh.
