I have to say that I find that both dadi and suhani have a lot in common they both disrespectful, superficial and they both love to have their own way. Dadi might be superficial when it comes to a person outward appearance bt suhani is just as superficial when it comes to a persons inward appearance. I dnt get why suhani is after dadi's life for the whole botox issue. I understand she doesn't want to give her the injections. Bt if the old lady is comfortable doing it why force her opinion onto her. And what's the big deal if she does it anyways, we all are diff so she should let her be. And really such offence to dadi lying to the journalist was so pathetic when we know that suhani herself has lied a number of times to get her own way. After watching her yesterday I totally get why souyma didn't tell suhani that she got married to krishna she would have meddled and meddled and had her way and revealed the truth when she hadn't wanted her to. The biggest problem with suhani is that she is a nice girl, good sense of humor, she loves the ppl around her and she knows them but she doesn't understand them and neither does she take the time to understand them. With dadi she didn't even have to understand the old cow bt she should have just respected her wish to do the botox and not made an issue of it and made her uncomfortable. The only person suhani really understands is snoopy she once said she doesn't know when he is happy or sad and so is scared of him. And just like hw dadi's family has allowed her to have her own way tooo much so have Suhani's parents they just spoilt her rotten not even yuvraj doesn't gets his way the way suhani makes sure she gets her way and at least he knows his limits. The 1 thing I kind ab dadi is she might disrespects the ppl around her bt atleast she is direct ab it unlike suhani who sugar coats her way through everything. Both these woman are rigid in their ways and thoughts even though they are totally diff.

Agree...she is just spoiled, goes on without taking a pause and not a good listener. Yesterday she was just too much, couldn't tolerate her...

Plus she seems jack of all things or proclaim that...and she is all about me, I and nothing else. I think Saumya never shared her relationship with Krishna with her as she didn't like him...Suhani used to shout on Krishna while he was helping them at Bhavna's wedding.

You have described her really well. I never realised this before. But yes they are similar.

I don't know exactly how cvs are trying to show her character. She may not be liked by viewers if they continue like this.

Suhani is a mahaan a lot like plenty of the other female leads in the various famous serials on air right now, I don't see anything different in Suhani as compared to every other female lead. Check out the leads of other shows on SP ...most of them force their opinions down others' throats...

Superficial isn't the right word for Suhani, I think she's just very naive. She thinks the world is all peaches and roses. Doesn't she realize that her sasural is full of BAD people...there's not much good in anyone. I hope she realizes that she's being ill treated by Yuvraj, Dadi, her SILs and pretty much everyone...and her saas does nothin to stand up for ther.

That's the sad thing abt Hindi female leads on TV that when they get treated like shit, they don't even realize it! Instead they have this rosy vision of changing people and bringing out the best in them.

Looks do matter, sadly. I think Suhani is wrong in the way she presents herself. Her dark skin is not the problem, black is beautiful but Suhani looks untidy at times. What's wrong with changing her hairstyle or wearing some makeup which MATCHES her own skin tone to show off that she can be beauitiful too? To look her best and show the fools like Dadi & her SILs that she can look stunning even if she doesn't have green eyes and white skin would be the best slap on their faces but she doesn't try there.

She should realize that there's nothing good INSIDE her sasural so if she wants to put them in their place a bit, she should try to fix herself by looking her best...without surgery or botox.

btw i think it's good to show Suhani as having flaws. IF she was just a perfect friend, wife, daughter then it would get boring. Suhani needs to have shades though and I am tired of seeing her be so nice and smiling all the time...she needs to judge people. It's not wrong, it's required. If you don't judge people, you will be screwed over by one and all.

They're not flaws unless the CV's clearly show that "this is wrong" with regards to what Suhani does. We know that that will never happen. The lead heroine is rarely shown to be wrong, while others, (like Dadi in this case), are shown to be wrong all the time.

Botox is not wrong, at all. However, an obsession with appearance (as Dadi and Yuvraaj have) is wrong.

Agee with u, even at the beginning of the show she may be a kind, sweet girl with nice thoughts but she is not perfect, she is sometimes naive & lost in her own world.

But yes now that she got married, need 2 c some good changes, c'mon she has 2 wake up, if she doesn't defend herself when it's needed without even trying how is she gonna survive? 😕

I'm not at all enjoying her character like b4, being always nice & all like nowadays typical heroines...

ya I agree at the moment there is nothing diff ab her from other mahaan bahu's, I truly hate hw they try and force their opinion and do whatever they like. If anything souyma is actually quite different fom other bahu's and is in some way giving it back to her in laws. Bt back to suhani the only thing that made her diff was that she was funny now she isn't even that. U know my biggest problem with her after marriage is that she didn't like her 2 mad sil be4 marriage and didn't trust them and now she is all lovey dovey and rags bhabhi this menaka bhabhi this. I think its both naivete and superficiality. She just isn't taking the time to get to know these ppl she lives with properly and understand their nature I guess we can say she is taking them with their flaws and doesn't want to linger on their negatvity bt that should be shown to us the viewer and we shouldn't have to imply it to her character. She had a certain awareness of the ppl around her b4 now she doesn't. And really her vivid imagination is her biggest down fall at the moment for her. As for her skin colour I dnt really knw what to say ab it anymore if anything more than worrying about her skin colour they should make dadi make her loss more weight.
